I really enjoyed the food here. I ordered the Steak Chicken and Shrimp with rice, and it was perfect. The shrimp was not over cooked and had a great flavor and texture, the chicken and steak were perfectly cooked as well. Their tortilla chips were a unique flavor I have not had at other notable restaurants around Wilmington. Their sweet tea was also very good.
The service on this night was attentive and friendly. I really enjoyed my meal and I was more than happy that I decided to give this place a try. I highly suggest that others do as well. Thanks very much, I will definitely eat here again.

I have never had a bad experience at Plaza Mariachi! I had the Burro California and it was amazing. The only thing challenging is not filling up on their amazing salsa before your meal arrives!

My husband and I went to lunch here today which is/was one of my favorite places and I was getting 2 street tacos and a side of rice and beans and the waiter says if you get 1 more taco it comes with the rice and beans and it’s cheaper so I’m like ok let’s do that. So my husband gets the same exact thing! So then we get the check and it says $13 and some change for 2 sides of rice and beans (which on menu priced at $3.99) so even it being $13 on our bill is more than $7.97 that is 2x3.99 last time I checked! Then the 3 tacos were $10 (which are listed on the menu for $2.99 which times 3 is $8.97 so they’re getting a little closer to the correct amount but with them charging it like that takes it from the combo amount of $13.99 to $16.95. So then we tell him that it’s messed up and he says where and we show him the tacos and rice and beans were rang up separately. So he says no that’s correct and my husband and I tell him how it is NOT correct and he then proceeds to say he was wrong when he told us that it comes in the combo price because it is but only if you order the same 3 kinds of meat for each one. My husband then tells him he didn’t tell us that or give us a chance to change with that knowledge because I myself only asked for 2 tacos anyway. So he says he’s going to go talk to the manager to see what he can do. We see him at the kiosk at the back with the manager he comes back with a new bill and says my boss tooo $1.95 off for a discount ??? lmfao wtf is that!? Our bill went from $44 and some change to $42 and some change! That should have been around $35 at most anyway
