If you’re looking for the ultimate iced coffee fix, Port City Java has you covered. ❄️☕

Smooth, bold, and perfectly chilled, their iced coffee hits that sweet spot between rich flavor and refreshing coolness. Bonus: it’s strong enough to get you going, but never bitter. Add a splash of cream or flavor, and you’re basically sipping happiness in a cup.

This is a great spot to get a good coffee and get work done or have a conversation. This is quieter than some of the other shops in town with plenty of good table space and outlets along with a couple couches if you are looking for something comfier. The coffee is reliable and the service is friendly. There is also a drive thru that is typically quick no matter the time of day!

We go about 4 times a week in the drive thru. Every time it is a pleasant experience, the coffee’s are delicious, and customer service is outstanding. The new manager ( I think she has been there many months) is amazing, trains her staff well and selects the best employees. Kudos to her. It is so much better, especially with consistency, than with previous management. Porters neck Port City is the best in Wilmington.

I got a drink with no ice and was charged $0.85. Craziest thing ever. Never had this happen at any other locations. Will never return to this location again.

I get the same drink whenever I go..
Iced latte with caramel and oatmilk. The quality is very inconsistent. I’ve been told “the espresso may be dead” so I’m supposed to tell barista to make sure it’s not.. seriously?! They charge .85 for oatmilk which is insane and not at all fair to those who can’t do dairy. When I go myself, I taste the drink before I leave, but my husband will go for me on weekends, and usually one of them isn’t made right. I went today. I realized when I finished the drink , it was 3/4 ice! That is the called for with what they charge. I went to the register and waited at least 5 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. She finally came over and I questioned the amount of ice to which her answer was “that’s the recipe, and my staff does it right”. That’s my last time going there! The only employee that is nice and understanding is Shannon. Everyone else is rude and not helpful! It’s a shame because I prefer supporting a small business, but I’m done wasting my money!

Great coffee, fantastic service, you can't go wrong with PCJPN. Seriously the best place in Wilmington to get caffeinated.

The drive thru is beyond slow! Especially the porters neck one. I just waited 10 minutes with only one car in the line. I ended up leaving. I’m not paying $7 for a watered down coffee after waiting that long.

Be prepared to wait in the drive-thru at a minimum of 10m no matter how small the order, or the absence of cars ahead of you, this is a trend I've noticed over the last 4y of going to this location, as well as filling your iced coffee cup 75% full of ice to use less coffee in the cup 😐
