Quanto Basta: Italian Eatery & Wine Bar

We had a very nice experience at QB. Our waiter, Gregory, provided nice suggestions, was attentive and very nice. Pastas and desserts (butter scotch budino and cannoli) were was excellent and a felt it was a good value. We will make this a frequent place to enjoy an Italian meal with family and friends.

The service was great. We were allowed to take our time and enjoy our meal. The value of the meal was exceptional and we look forward to returning again.

This was our first dining at this highly recommended Italian restaurant. The guidance by our server was spot on. The food was fresh and well prepared. The Special seasonal pasta with veal cutlet was delicious as was the chicken marsala. We'd get both dishes again. The back room (where we were seated) was more elegant and quiet. The main restaurant seemed a bit noisy.

Food was delicious! Had the fettuccine Alfredo which has mushrooms and pancetta in it. So delicious and the sauce is not heavy!! I love the the atmosphere also! I'll be back!!

Table was nice and music playing added ambience. Disappointed in menu. Hardly any seafood or beef. Very limited. Needs to be expanded. Wine list terrible. First time we had 1 glass each, Decided on bolognese only to be told was not in red sauce but a broth? Had the penne vodka. Was OK 3 shrimp added for $12. We live in area and dine quite a bit in Wilmington. Will not be back here!

Our server Andrew was so so so so nice he made our experience and my sisters birthday so memorable. The food was also amazing and we had a private area to ourselves.

Our waitress was hammered. Like, slurring her words, mixing up our orders, and carrying our dishes on top of one another and getting other plates in our food hammered. She got progressively worse over the 3 hours we were there. We waited 2 1/2 hours for our food to come with my party and 40 minutes or more just to get our drinks. The checks forced us to pay a 20% gratuity which we had no choice to pay either, which was crazy knowing the service was so poor. The food ended up being ok and I ended up paying $55 for a very mid Caesar salad and penne a la vodka and a mocktail. Our waitress didn’t come back to run our cards so we had to go to the bartenders to get them to run our cards. Needless to say I won’t ever be coming back here.

Great food and service and we ate in the beautiful Grotto where it was much quieter than the indoor section of restaurant. We love Quanto Basta!

Recommended by a friend, Quanto Basta has quickly become one of our go-to favorites. The food is excellent. Many choices on the menu. Always something new among the specials. Friendly and attentive service. The atmosphere is welcoming and interesting. Very reasonable and affordable, especially the pasta dishes. We love the place and it is at the top of our regular rotation.

Food was good, not great. A little high priced. Biggest flaw is an Italian eatery without an expresso machine.

Took my wife for our anniversary, food and drinks along with the service was outstanding. We definitely plan on coming back again !

Very nice restaurant, nice ambiance. Drinks and food were excellent as was our server, Colin. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and made appropriate recommendations on wine and appetizers. The owner stopped by our table and thanked us for visiting his restaurant. All in all a very nice experience

How have I missed this restaurant? The sauces were to die for! Seriously ready to go back again.
