Good spot to grab a drink. We sat outdoors and the bartender Eli was awesome! He dealt with a situation with a rowdy couple that threw water at him and he handled it well. Nachos took a bit to come out but food was good!

Two of us went on a Saturday around 4:30. They werenât busy and it took 45+ minutes for two salads (no meat) and calamari. Ordered a beer and watched the bartender play in his phone for 20 minutes while tickets printed and he ignored them.

If youâre trying to find live music, good food, and a gooood time then âThe Reel Cafeâ is the place to be. Eli the attentive bartender, and the atmosphere very unique compared to the stale bars that are around. The Reel Cafe is a must.

I work retail in a business located near Reel. Ryan, Katie, and the staff are here frequently to buy ice or sodas and snacks. Even though they do not usually deliver, they bring me food as I work alone. Their wings are the best! The idea of having food, especially late, is a good idea with the volume of partiers that are downtown on the weekends. They have several styles of hot dogs on the late night menu from 10pm until 2am. Reel also has an awesome security staff. There is not many problems that go on in other places downtown.

Terrible customer service experience ever. They call themselves a cafe and restaurant on website and even a staple of Wilmington but their service does not reflect this. The servers said itâs not a restaurant after our take out order was given and paid for. Then made inappropriate comments about the food that was ordered. This is just a bar, so they should just call themselves this and advertise bar foods but even then, we do not recommend going here ever because the customer service is unwelcoming. And the also the food not good either. We made the mistake of not reading all the reviews before going there, hope you donât.

We ordered the fish & chips, when we received the fish and hush puppies were burnt, my partner didn't want to return the food because of what might happen.I believe we should somehow be compensated for this terrible meal.Thank You!

Sitting outside and watched the black bouncer in a black cut off shirt go after a girl at close tonight screaming and yelling acting like he was gonna pull her out of a car after she dropped some things off to him, made me and my wife uncomfortable so we looked around for cops and there was a fight going on not 10 feet away isnât that what the bouncer is supposed to be focusing on? Idk man not a good vibe thatâs for sure

Have not got my food yet so I canât comment on taste. Only people in here eating and waiting 25 mins to eat. Think our server went to break! Needs some serious upkeep like paint and cleaning. Bathroom upstairs so if you are handicap oh well. Hope the food is better than the wait and surroundings.
Stopped in for a bite while downtown waiting on fireworks. Saw the patio with live music and tried this place out. We ordered a burger meal, fish basket and shrimp basket plus mozzarella sticks for our appetizer. Long wait for food and the mozzarella sticks came out with the food and weâre cold and doughy. Both the fish and shrimp were burnt black, I think maybe the oil is old. Burger was ok. Server was friendly but the food was not good. And the bathrooms were disgusting, dirty, no paper towels and missing doors. This is probably a good place for a drink late night but not for food.

Came here looking for a spot opened past 10 who had oysters. I was not disappointed! The food took some time but it wasnât horrible. Drinks were delicious and the One Tree Hill decorations made me smile!

The service here was the worst service Iâve ever had, and I am always someone who gives people the benefit of the doubt, but this was unacceptable. The server not only took 2 years to come take our drink orders, she also brought me kids 3 chicken tenders which was incorrect because I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich. You could tell she just didnât care. We were already there 45 minutes, so I did not want to wait another 45 minutes to get my âcorrected orderâ so she just decided to charge me for the incorrect order that she gave me. On top of that she didnât come by one time to refill my drink and never asked how the food was or anything. It was just the most non existent service. I was excited to eat here because I am a big one tree hill fan but definitely was not worth it at all.
