We (party of five)arrived on time for 7 pm seating, no one ahead, 3 empty tables yet waited 15 min to be seated. Waited 20 minutes to see waiter, who took our drink orders . Drinks arrived 30 minutes later (so now over an hour). Meal, while very good arrived another 30 minutes later. While we were told that our wait was due to an upstairs large party, we noticed that two other parties ( same size & larger) were served drinks/dinner in timely manner😩 Not sure we will go back, a shame because food was good.
Cocktails were quite good. Everyone enjoyed their food. Service was good considering our server had 2 large parties sat around the same time. Definitely recommend the fried avocado app
We went on a Saturday night. I wish I could remember our waitress's name, but we had excellent service; she made suggestions and knew the menu well. I had the Miso Salmon, and my husband had sliders. We enjoyed the atmosphere as they had decorated with lots of sparkly Christmas lights. This may be an unusual comment, but as a female, I appreciate that they took the time to decorate the bathroom for Christmas. I did notice, and I always feel like if the bathrooms are clean and neat, it reflects on the care taken in the kitchen and restaurant itself.
We had a table for 8 which was ready promptly at 7:00pm. The service was excellent but about half of our party said the food was just ok, especially the burgers. My salad was excellent and my husband said the duck was smaller than expected. Our cocktails were all excellent!
The cornbread sliders were so good! The fries and ketchup had no reason to pair so well with the sliders, but they did. Outstanding food and great service.
Our waiter was awesome and helpful. The food was excellent. Husband had the peppercorn flank steak and I had the fried green tomato sliders. Both dishes were delicious and decent portions. Drinks were good and the cheesecake at the end was delicious.
The service was great, the server had a great attitude and was very helpful. The locale was nice, I only had two gripes, the food tasted good but for the price I expected the flavor to be amazing or for the amount of food to be worth it. We had the waguy strip steak and a chicken strawberry salad. The salad was more food than the steak for 1/2 the price and even that was too much for a simple salad with chicken. The cocktails were amazing though.
Good place.....food was very good, well-prepared and hot. Portions were large, but not unmanageable......staff was friendly and efficient.....would recommend and would go back
Delicious, high quality, affordable, fun food! Lovely, small atmosphere. We sat upstairs in the loft (party of 9).
Food was imaginative and delicious. We had the cornbread chicken sliders and the fried green tomato sliders. Both were fabulous. Large portions. The cocktails were especially good.

Great menu variety! We did not expect to have vegan options for my husband given the restaurant name but there were several apps possibilities. No vegan main. I had a delicious seared tuna. He had the kale chips that were good but heavy on the vinegar so it was hard to finish them. I ordered a decaf coffee and the cup was barely half full which was a little odd. I would go back next time we are in town just to try the cornbread fried chicken sandwich with green tomatoes. Sounds delicious!
My wife and I picked RumCow for our date night and were very pleased with our experience . The hostess and our server were very welcoming, had great genuine attitudes and made the experience that much better. The food was not only well priced but very very good. We are from updatable NY and it's not often we get good southern cooked food . We highly recommend this place and will revisit on next years trip as well .
Went two girlfriends and I had the shrimp and grits tacos that was delicious. Friends got the salads, one with tuna the other chicken. They were great portions with delicious dressing. Tacos were an appetizer but two generous tacos that was plenty for a light meal.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Wilmington. From small plates and appetizers to entrees and desserts the food is excellent. The drinks are unique and tasty.
I love their menu. Such interesting options and food is fantastic. We have been there twice in the last month!!
