Where do I begin? This was the site picked for our company Christmas party. We are a small group who , since Covid, work remotely. In some cases, the one time of year we see each other. It has always been an important part and highlight of the year, like a family reunion. This year was an absolute disappointment. I cannot put into words the horrible treatment we received by this staff. Our party of nine had a 5pm reservation. I arrived late due to traffic. At that time, the company owner had one beer. The waitress took my drink order and brought me back a cocktail glass which was 90% ice. I made a comment that I could not get a sip because it was so much ice. The owner asked the waitress to please bring me something with not so much ice.. I have no clue if this was the start of problem but it all went downhill from there. She took the appetizer order and ignored me when trying to place my order. I chalked it up to an accident which in hindsight, may have been intentional. When the appetizers arrived ( not for me) , the owner ordered his second beer. We all had designated drivers so everyone planned to have a few drinks. When the meal arrived, the owner asked for a third beer and was ignored. After some time, he walked to the bar to ask for it and was told he was " Cut off". I think a few words were exchanged but it came to " talk to the manager" in which he backed down in which not to cause a scene or upset us. Backstory, he was in an auto accident and has a speech impediment in which he tends to slur a little and pause between thoughts. He was in no way loud, or rude. I am not sure if this disability caused the staff to treat him this way but it was pure disrespect. A man ( paying for an entire dinner) should not have been treated with such disregard. Others at the party saw the waitress and bartender snickering about our group and everyone was extremely uncomfortable. The owner and another coworker ended up leaving .. he barely touched his meal due to being so angry. The rest of us sat there in shock and discomfort . The waitress brought dessert menus and asked if we wanted to order. One of our coworkers joked " I guess we are boycotting" in which she snapped " That's fine" and walked away. At no point was I ever asked if I needed another drink, no one asked if our meal was okay.. nothing. It was such a horrible experience. We have two coworkers battling cancer, I was coming back from losing my father and the owner had lost his mother. We have all not seen each other in a year.. to have this night ruined by poor attitude by staff is unbelievable. This is one of the highlights of our year.. we all look forward to it. Babysitters are hired, drivers are in place, girls buy new outfits and curl their hair.. one staff member drove three hours, the owner drove in from Florida..that is how special amd important this night is ... We will not get that experience back. We could not wait to get out of there. Some of the staff went to another restaurant to get coffee and dessert due to us not wanting to give another dollar to RX. I left , went to taco bell and text the others how depressed I was to be home by 8pm and still hungry. Everyone shared the same sentiment. I even cried, it was such a disappointment to everyone. It really hurt my heart, especially for the owner who was cut off. He was humiliated and was clearly in need of a good time ..and then to be treated so poor. .. It literally broke my heart. He DID NOT DESERVE THAT, WE did not deserve that! I think the bill was over a thousand dollars. Keep it. I am writing this as a warning to others. I would not want anyone to be treated or made feel the way this establishment made us feel. No dollar amount could compensate for the loss of this experience. It's gone, another year in the books. I just pray we will all make it to next year in hopes of recreating all the good memories of years past.

Excellent cocktails, food and service. We had chicken and oysters (go figure!) and the current fish. All delicious. Quite noisy so don't expect a quiet dinner.

The best meal we have had in Wilmington since we arrived six years ago! Perfect eggs Benedict, - eggs just right, excellent hollandaise, the lightest fluffiest grits. French toast in a league by itself.

We took some friends to RX Chicken & Oysters last night. Our first time there as well as theirs. Lily was our waitress and was excellent. She made recommendations and told us her favorites. We have Oysters Rockefeller, Fried Oysters, Crab Cakes, Blueberry Hand Pie and Dark Chocolate Brownie. The food was excellent. We will be back!

Came here via suggestion from a bartender at another establishment. My wife and I both had their special catches for the day. They were superb and cooked perfectly. Our waiter was awesome and answered all of our questions and chatted us up about life in Wilmington. We will definitely return here when in town hopefully next spring.

This restaurant definitely lived up to our expectations. It was the best meal we had while on vacation in the area. It has an upscale vibe with really friendly service. They know what they're talking about and are attentive. We ordered most of the appetizers on the menu. The mini biscuits were the best. My husband also loved the pig ears and belly. I've had better oysters and shrimp, but the signature hot sauce was a nice touch. We got a bottle to take with us. We enjoyed the chicken, shrimp and grits, and fresh catch (snapper). Overall, this restaurant offered great food and a really good experience. We recommend!

Hiddem gem in Wilmington! As a pharmacist, I was initially intrigued since this restaurant used to be a pharmacy (although the decor & inside is not pharmacy themed) but we decided to try it based on the food options. Our waitress was friendly & knowledgeable. We aren't big seafood eaters so she took the time to explain the catch-of-the-day options. We had never heard of lionfish (see pictures for a sculpture of this spiky fish) but my husband decided to try it. And it ended up being his favorite meal of the whole trip! It's a little pricey, but you can taste the quality & freshness of the food. Everything was delicious & well-prepared. Highly recommend trying a dessert served with their soft-serve ice cream. Just a few blocks from downtown, its hidden on a residential street but definitely worth a visit

Without a doubt, the best seafood restaurant in Wilmington, NC. Everything on the menu is locally sourced our locally caught. Their sauces are amazing. If African pompano is on the fresh catch, get it. It sells out fast. Shrimp and grits the best I have ever tasted and the cobbler? Take that home in a to go box.

We wanted to try something new for a date night spot and so lucky we landed on this place. Our waiter was so amazing and educated us on the meals. The BEST Oysters and Crab Cakes I have ever had. Will be coming back many many times!
