S & L New York Style Deli

I had a bacon egg and cheddar on an everything bagel, delicious. Also took home bake goods, terrific. I would definitely recommend.

S & L Deli is hands-down the best deli in town. I stop in multiple times a week for both breakfast and lunch, and it never disappoints. The food is consistently amazing — true, authentic New York–style deli fare that’s hard to find around here.

The staff is also the friendliest you’ll meet. They always make you feel welcome, remember your order, and keep the place running like a well-oiled machine. Whether you’re grabbing something quick or sitting down for a meal, the experience is always top-tier.

This place is best the area has to offer. I eat here regularly. Staff is friendly and food is excellent. Fresh and tasty. I am basic breakfast guy. Refills were plentiful. The bagels are the best- they are made daily. I grabbed a dozen for my family. Oh by the way the desserts are exceptional.

They didnt give my card back at checkout. I should have realized. But when I went back to get it from 45 mins away they didnt check my license and were just hostile with me. Own up to your mistakes and apologize. I had to drive 45 mins cause the employees were gawking over my child and couldn't put my debit card in my hand. Couldn't apologize. Couldn't check ny id to make sure its my card. Never again.

Food was mediocre, bland and overpriced. One lady was very nice about my son but the experience i had retrieving my card was disgusting.

There is not an equally good bagel within 600 miles of S&L Deli in Wilmington, NC.

I came here for emergency breakfast, I had a mighty need for food.

From the food to the service to the Ambiance and the music and the energy it feels like I'm back in New York City it feels like I could be in Long Island somewhere or in Staten Island or even somewhere up north Beyond The Manhattan lines. This place captures the comfort of the city and its energy.

And the people in the diner are reflection of that same quality and service. Regardless of what circumstances may bring me back to Wilmington North Carolina I know I have a piece of New York somewhere close by

Unfamiliar with this area an was looking for a bagel for a quick breakfast. Found this deli. My bagel was delicious and the menu looked so good. I will be back and try the desserts.

Wanted the N.Y.C. experience..got all that and more! Had a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel..with tomatoes and red onion...on an perfectly toasted all in one bagel..it was refreshing hearing that N.Y infamous accent all around me..brought back so many memories..Continue to offer delicious fare reasonably priced..Will visit every time I'm in the area!
