First this place is hard to find if you are not a local. And they don't have a phone apparently. That would be ok (a little hassle) if the order was ready on time and the food was good. Pizza might have been good at one point but it was so cold that it was tough and chewy and had absorbed the cardboard taste. 2 salads that were sposed to be chopped kale but we're barely cut and no prep at all. Olive oil cake inedible. Swirl soft serve that tasted like chemicals. Don't bother with this place as it is way over hyped and they apparently don't care Bout the quality of your food. We spent 85 dollars on take out and we threw most of it away. I almost never write bad reviews and I respect small biz owners. But they need to respect us back. Not worth a trip to try to find this place. Bad food. Surly service. Substandard all around.

Best Pizza in Wilmington by a mile. Incredibly flavorful sourdough crust, seasonal & fresh ingredients only. You can taste the quality here. Order and eat outside or take it to Bull Cider just a 30-second walk away. If you're debating what pizza place to try just choose this one and you will not regret it. In fact, every time you eat pizza after this one you'll be thinking about it.

I didn't get the pizza "yet," but that soft serve ice cream transported me to another dimension. I chose the swirl, which is the ice cream and sorbet together. Honestly, there is nothing like it that I've found so far. All I know is I will be back very soon.

Great food. Pizzas are excellent. Weekend bagels and other treats are incredible. One of my favorite spots in Wilmington. Tucked away in the cargo district. Check this place out.

Enjoyed a very good Neapolitan pizza and some shishito peppers at this take out spot in the Cargo district.
The Bomba pizza had perfect crispy pepperoni with calabrian chili peppers. The sauce was thick and delicious. Perfect size for 2 people or 1 hungry person.
The shishito peppers were blistered and covered with some parmesan cheese and black pepper. The cheese was a bit messy and overpowering but added a good saltiness to the peppers.
There is plenty of seating in the area or bars to enjoy the pizza.

The peach pizza was the pinnacle of genius flavor combinations and a bold sophisticated take on a sweet & savory pairing. My husband got the Bomba and it was also delicious! Best pizza!!! The dough is flavorful and soft yet gives you that chew that you look for in a good pizza. 10/10 would reccomend. The parking situation is a little weird. We parked on the street 2 blocks away and walked behind the building in the alleyway near the other little shops.
We also tried the olive oil sorbet (Black berry) and chocolate ice cream- both olive oil infused and absolutely divine. The best ice cream I've had! We come to Wilmington every weekend and this will be our new lunch spot!

Forget Italy, Salita in the artistic cargo district serves up slices that could outshine the Tuscan sun! Each bite is a flavor explosion that'll make your taste buds light up like the 4th of July.

Each part of the pie played a crucial part of the flavor symphony:

The crust? Crispy perfection with a hint of chewiness that's like a culinary ballet on your palate. The toppings range from classic to peach and prosciutto? And the cheese? It flows like a molten river of parm and mozzarella that dreams are made of.

The ambiance? Picture this: cozy tables nestled among cargo containers turned art studios, with a vibe that's both hipster-cool and authentically Italian.

The staff? They're like pizza whisperers, guiding you through a menu that reads like a love letter to Naples.

So, if you're craving a slice of heaven in Wilmington, head straight to Salita. Your taste buds will thank you, and you might just start planning your next pizza pilgrimage before you've finished your last slice. Buon appetit!

They buy hyper locally (flour included!!) and represent their farmers d*mn well. SUPER reasonable prices, especially considering the quality, care, and finesse that’s gone in to every step of what they do. Dank & thoughtful

Ridiculously good stuff. Seasonal menu that revolves around whatever local goodness they can get their hands on, including the flour for their dough. Summer Squash Pizza was one of the best things we’ve eaten all year. Olive oil cake slaps. Blessed to have stumbled upon this jawn.

It’s like, a couple bucks more than friggn dominoes. Wake up people!
