The atmosphere and service was great! But, I was a little uncomfortable when who i assumed is the owner put his dog bed on the bar and let his dog walk all over the bar top, sniffing into our drinks. The dog did this not once but twice. The dog owner barely acknowledged it. I understand that the dog is the face of the bar, but I don't think it should have been walking on the bar or should have had the dog bed sitting on the bar.

One of the most underrated bars in Wilmington. Fantastic cocktails for fair prices, jaw dropping view of the river with plenty of patio space and games to play, cozy interior and perfect nook to watch games and relax. Was lucky to meet the owner, very kind and down to earth. If you’re lucky you will get to meet their 3 sweet pups who will wow you with their tricks! Can’t recommend this place enough

My boyfriend and I walked in on a Saturday late afternoon around 4ish, and the bartender was completely unwelcoming . We sat down and she asked my boyfriend what he would like to see and then asked him for his ID. I wasn’t drinking so I didn’t get anything. The bartender looks at me and I felt like she wanted to see my ID as well which is common if you’re sitting at a bar. I said “ do you need to see mine as well” and she goes “ um are you drinking “ with a horrible attitude. I said no i’m not and she replied okay then. It just seemed incredibly rude , and her attitude was just awful. We wanted to stay to enjoy the atmosphere , but ended up leaving. if you don’t like your job get a new one ! 😂

I've been to this location twice and I've enjoyed myself. They have both an indoor and outdoor seating area so if you're looking to cool down you have a place to be but can also sit and watch boats on the water. The cocktails were really nice and the service was pretty good but not a place I'd sit and chat with the bartenders as a regular.
