Incredible! Stunning! Gagged (in a good way)! My partner & I visited for the first time yesterday & I was blown away. The menu had me feeling whimsical & giddy with excitement!! The dirty bird was incredible & I couldn’t finish it - I got to enjoy it for breakfast the next day. They also had a weekly special of cinnamon donuts with honey butter cream cheese & oh my lord… I hope they bring these back permanently. I love savory brunch but always want something a little sweet but a whole pancake etc is too much. These little joys were the perfect appetizer. Also, the apple cider mimosa was perfect for fall. Unlike many folks who are already prepping for Christmas, I am savoring (lol) autumn as long as I can & it was so lovely to see predominantly fall flavors rather than Christmas already. We got an appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 coffees, & an alcoholic beverage for around $60, which feels unheard of these days. Also, when they offered apple butter with our biscuits, I cheered. I think the last time I had apple butter served was up in the mountains. Needless to say, we will be back. 2 things to “know before you go”
1) the noise level - it’s a lively, joy filled restaurant and by no means is that a bad thing - if you have sensory sensitivities / are easily overstimulated by sounds, considering brining a noise muting accessory, like loops.
2) parking was a bit stressful as there are limited spots (understandably) so just make sure to do your deep breathing & enjoy the euphoria of nabbing a spot (respectfully!)

Southern Savor Kitchen is absolutely incredible! From the moment I walked in, Domino and her husband made me feel so welcome, they’re the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! So friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about their customers. The service was top notch from everyone on the team, it’s a great atmosphere. And the food… WOW! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I was honestly so impressed with my entire experience, it’s rare to find a place that delivers both amazing food and amazing people. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending Southern Savor Kitchen to everyone I know!!! 😊

Savory Southern Kitchen completely wowed us from start to finish!
The food was absolutely amazing—true Southern comfort with a creative, flavorful twist. Every bite tasted like it was made from scratch with love and care. The portions are massive (seriously, come hungry!)—way bigger than we expected, and definitely worth every penny.
We couldn’t resist grabbing the Blueberry Lemon Curd Doughnut Holes for a road snack… but let’s be honest—they didn’t even make it out of the parking lot. Perfectly fluffy, bursting with flavor, and just the right balance of sweet and tart.
The staff was friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere cozy yet lively, and everything came out fresh and hot. It’s the kind of place where you feel like family the moment you walk in.
If you’re anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and stop by Savory Southern Kitchen. Bring your appetite, because you’re going to want to try everything!

Best breakfast in Wilmington. Everything is locally sourced, they make their own sausage and the grits are real stone ground. I don’t know what they do to the eggs, but they are the best I’ve ever tasted. Service is always excellent.

I’ve been there about 4 times and one particular hostess made me uncomfortable when I asked for another table because of my anxiety issues. Which is probably because she wanted to save the bigger table for a larger party. So I made
Sure to leave a $10 tip for the inconvenience. But other than that I LOVE THE FOOD

This place really needs to expand, everyone is seated really close to eachother. It’s really weird, you can barely hear the people you came with since it’s so small and crowded. The outside seating is a plastic awning, I know they make enough money to expand and fix this tacky outside seating.

This place offers really good farm to table food! They have a board up listing where they get different food from local sources. They have the most unusual, and fun, names for the food but it taste great! My plate was called something like, When or till the cows come home. Delicious beef ribs, and gravy over sweet potatoe biscuits and topped with cheese. When we were there you could sit outside under a tent, which would be great for that day, or inside. Worse problem was waiting for parking. It was full and even some people had parked outside of the marked spots. We waited for a place and it was worth it.

Met the owner at another local favorite. She encouraged me to come try it out, so I did. This place is outrageous. Food is on pinpoint and the waitstaff is great.
