At the VA, front desk (Vivian) recommended this place, and all I wanted was a snack. I ordered a bagel and water, I thought I would keep it simple. Got it to go and after waiting 10mins, it wasn't even toasted. So did the girl behind the counter not know how to operate the toaster or just didn't care. I will go with didn't Care, I was the only one in the place, so my 3 strikes and out will not apply, as I feel I will have to go here when I visit the VA but keep your expectations very very low. I will re-review next visit

A little breakfast oasis near the Wilmington airport. There's another one inside the airport but this one seems better. I have had the breakfast biscuit twice. Literally the flakiest biscuit ever. Delicious. Perfectly cooked eggs and delicious sausage. I lingered for a refill on the coffee and chatted with the amazing staff

Came here for lunch one day a couple months ago. My boyfriend and I had been looking for a new deli to try in Wilmington. Reviewing delis in Wilmington is very hard I feel because once I do, the restraunt shuts down. I mean all of our favorite sandwhich shops are gone such as chops and detour deli. We always find that once we find a shop we like it also closes down. Hopefully the third time is a charm. Right after walking into scratch we could tell this place got a ton of action, I think from the time we ordered to the time we got our sandwiches we noticed like 15 different people come in for pick up orders, we soon found out that was the way to do it. I think we probably waiting 20 mins for the sandwiches. We both got the turkey Gouda. The time it was taking was cutting into my boyfriends work break. When we finally got them and tried them we knew we had to come back and try everyone. The next time we came in- litterally the next day- we called in our orders and got them almost immediately, SO GOOD!!!

My husband and I were heading home today from our vacation and wanted to grab a bite to eat before hitting a long stretch of highway. I quickly googled and Scratch On 23rd came up.WOW!!! What a hidden gem!! Very friendly employee working at the register. Hands down one of the best Caprese sandwiches I’ve ever had. The ingredients were so fresh and absolutely amazing. My husband had the BLT and it was toasted so perfectly. They had a huge coffee selection as well. If you’re ever in the area, please do yourself a favor and stop by. We will be back!

The coffees are amazing not a fan of the food though. Especially the breakfast menu. Meats and egg patty's seem frozen, biscuits are bland, toasted English muffin wasn't even toasted. I didn't even eat my sandwich this time will be back for coffee though.

The place isn’t worth going too. I ordered a roasted chicken and focaccia with pesto sandwich. It was chicken cold cuts on a roll. Nice interior, nice staff, but the food I ordered was underwhelming as well as the menu.
