I love Wilmington and the food scene made it hard to pick a spot every evening I was there. This place could be the crown jewel of the places I was able to enjoy while I was there and they were all good. I had the swordfish schnitzel which sounded strange to me but was amazing. My wife had the crispy smoked catfish and loved it as well. We each had a couple drinks and they were crafted expertly. The server knew I was interested in the ribs and gave us a sample. They were fall off the bone amazing. This place is a need to stop if you love good food.

My partner and I went here this past Monday for happy hour oysters (only on Mondays 5-6pm at the bar). Oysters were fantastic- local, salty, delicious; we couldn't believe they were a $1 a piece! We also had the tuna crudo, pork ribs and clam linguine and everything was chef's kiss- absolutely delightful! Drinks were also great, restaurant is beautiful and staff friendly! We will definitely be back!

It's about time that the menu gets a change up. Has been the same for months, which means creativity is gone. I ordered the clams with linguini and was very disappointed. Six tiny, tiny clams the size of my finger nail or smaller, in their shells. Tasteless, to say the least. The linguini was good. But, expensive to say the worst. About time SENC restaurants stop trying to "sell" their home state's "delicacies" and buy real food. Who gives a care about Southern cooking; it is highly overrated, greasy, and fat.

Best catfish I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve had this fish all over the south. From Tennessee to Georgia to Florida to South Carolina, you name it, this is hands-down THE BEST. I also had red velvet ice cream and espresso to finish which was again, phenomenal. Please stop by and try it. Thank you Seabird 👍

We just had such an incredibly memorable first experience at Seabird. Frean and Sarah, greeted me with so much kindness and hospitality. Seabird might be my new DT Wilmington favorite brunch spot and I can’t wait to go for dinner. Thank you for the incredible food and atmosphere. It was a dream!

We popped in on a Saturday night and had no reservations. We were quickly seated at the Chefs table where we got to watch the action of execution. It was fun. One of the owners took time out to thank us for coming in. Ok so the food….wow! We both had the spaghetti and clams. So delish. We also were given a scoop of a lemon pistachio ice cream flavor they have by the owner. Wow! So good. What loved was that we did not feel rushed. We were treated like regulars . The service was fantastic and very nice back in Wilmington would def go again. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

We had reservations and had arrived a few minutes early. We were seated right away. Our server was Jack who was personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts all arrived at the perfect time. Our food was well prepared and attractive on the plate. The Art Deco decor was well done. Highly recommend!

We went here for a pre- Valentines dinner. Our second time here. We sat at the bar for a fun ambiance.
Our bartenders, Ryan and Julia were on it!! Great customer service and great knowledge of the menu. I had a Grey goose dirty martini and my husband had a lManhatten. Both excellent. Pre dinner was BBQ Oysters and some of the best cornbread muffins with the right amount of honey drizzle!.
Dinner was the Seasonal Seafood Tower... outstanding here. The head chef, Dean Neff came out to greet us. Very Friendly. The bartenders were very knowledgeable on the dinner wine list!
Bonus was Sarah the host who remembered my name from the phone ressy and greeted me when I arrived! We were one of 3 people of color dining and were treated with the best care and service!! Bathrooms were clean!! We just decided to bring our family here next month!
