Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff and good food!
Had a great experience yesterday at the bar. Me and the wife stopped in for a few beers and some lunch .. Melinda really took care of us and I’m looking forward to going back soon!
Very good pub food. Service was wonderful.

Great atmosphere...great service... and your Shepherd's Pie with mashed potato and cheddar cheese topping was amazing!!!! I'll be back!
Service is excellent, food is great for pub food, beer is cheap. What more could you ask for?

I decided to try this place in search of a new pub for a group of neighborhood dads, and this place was pretty close to where I live. I got there around 3:15 on 3/31/25 to check it out and ordered a Black and Tan. At first, the bartender was attentive. After I put in my order for some food, his attention was quickly diverted to what seemed to be a group of regulars. My food arrived and it was average for pub fare. I waited for a while to get his attention for an extra condiment and started timing it after a bit. When 10 minutes went by without his attention, I had to get up and walk to the other side of the restaurant to ask a waitress to help me. Even after that, he continued to completely be absorbed with a group of regulars. Keep in mind that this was after I told him I was looking for a new hangout.
Most tenets of an Irish pub are not to be found at this bar. The community is (clearly) selectively attended to by staff, the TVs are neglectful of any type of footy, and there are no eggs on the menu. Not deviled, not Scotch, not Irish. These are only a few examples of why this place does not feel like a pub, but anyone who walks in can see what I mean immediately.
Bottom line is that if you are not an established patron (at least for this bartender) then you should avoid this small-time bar masquerading as a pub. Try Whiskey Trail just halfway down the loop if you want attentive service and great food. I will definitely recommend to the neighborhood dads that we just stick to what we know and avoid Celtic Monkey.
Pretty good. Fish was soggy.

One of our favorite places to eat and get a drink. The service and food are always amazing! The live music outside is a plus as well!
The food, atmosphere and staff are all amazing here. Today we had the pleasure of meeting Nikki! She had great suggestions for our meal and everything came out perfect!! Definitely our new favorite place in Monkey Junction!!!
What a great find. Traditional Irish Pub.. wonderful food and atmosphere. Service was very attentive.
This place is a hidden gem in Monkey Junction. We were greeted by staff with a warm smile and told we could sit anywhere. Our server Ava was amazing!! We explained it was our first time in the restaurant, she reviewed the menu, made great suggestions on appetizers, main dishes and drinks. You could tell she had tried the dishes based on her description of the food. Ava is top notch, make sure you ask for her if you are going to dine here. Overall we had a great dining experience and will definitely be back!! We may be addicted to the Reuben egg rolls😉
We went there on a Saturday evening and the place was popping. They had someone do an open mic, the food was very good. I had a Reuben! Good beer and alcohol selection as well!
