This place is supposed to be open until 3 AM on Friday nights. I called and called and called at 11 PM Friday night and no one ever answered the phone to take my order. I’m not just going to assume that they’re there and place an online order, especially if no one can even answer the phone.

One of the few options to get a late night bite to eat. Friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere.

Ever walk into a place that feels way more quiet than you expected? Everyone hangry and eyes desperately waiting for food and drinks? If you want to you can go to Slice on a friday night and be underwhelmed by the pizza and watch the male bartender complain and flounce around while continually smelling a glass of water instead of running food. Glad the female counterpart was there running food and being polite to us trying to make up for it.

I ordered takeout on my lunchbreak yesterday as I've done from this location many times. The place was nearly empty when I arrived. Paid, got my order and left. When I got back to work I found my slices to be completely burnt. I threw them in the trash. Very disappointing.

I try so hard to love this location of slice of life, and finally after this evening -I just cannot. The service is always rude. I don’t care if you’re slow, as long as you say hi and I’ll be right with you, perfect! Keep the drinks flowing, even better! But to just ignore your customers, not a one time thing, but every time we come in, it’s just a negative experience. Porters Neck location is always exceptional.

Cute spot
Service was poor, never refilled our drinks
Pizza was ok, the menu says they make the dough in house but I’m not sure if that includes individual slices. Dough was extremely tight, crust flat and had the little divets present in frozen dough…think Chuck E. Cheese but not as good.

After a long day at the beach and a hungry family this little joint was a treasure. Great food and portions, amazing staff, and a chill vibe to relax after the sun burn. Highly recommend you get your slice of life on and pay them a visit.

I rated this place a 1 put of 4 stars despite them having my favorite pizza in all of Wilmington. The pizza is great but good luck if you ever want to order take out from their location after 10pm. No one EVER answers the phone. Tonight is a Saturday and they close at 3pm. We tried doing an online ordrr at 12:30am and it said they were not taking new orders... 2 hours and 30 minutes before closing. We called their location and it went to voicemail. The last 5 times I have called their location they have not answered the phone. I will be going to Might as Well Pizza.... hell maybe even papa John's over Slice of Life. If they don't care about doing business then they won't get business from me.

Ordered take out. Do this often. No consistency. Tonight, I ordered two Caesar salads, no Caesar dressing. Ordered a medium pie, dough was not done and had to finish cooking it at home. Also, first time I had to finish cutting it. It was cut into only four slices. We like Slice a lot but, please get back to what made you! Strive to do better.
