Our order was misplaced or lost but Melissa was so apologetic. We’d been waiting for about 20-30 minutes or longer. She gave us our money back and free food. She’s a keeper!!

Smithfield's on 17th Street in Wilmington NC was busy. I went there after work and now I know what it was busy. The vinegar based BBQ and baked beans were delicious. The customer service was quick considering how busy they were and they even brought it to my table. All I had to do was add some Texas Pete and eat. Place was clean staff was friendly. For the record the BBQ chicken is amazing as well melts in your mouth. They offer military and first responder discounts.

My husband was in the drive thru line. When he got to the windows he was told to pull up. He asked for sauces for our BBq pack. When he got home, we were missing out 12 pack of hushpuppies, sauces, and 1 banana pudding as well as straws. Very disappointing fries were also soggy and underwhelming. Usually have good experiences at Smithfields but this time they were way off the mark.

I was the first customer in the lobby this morning. I placed a simple order for my parents and asked 4-5 times to put slaw on the tender sandwich. When I got home, there was NO slaw! I placed my order second and was charged for 2 extra bbq sandwiches.
Seems like the last few times we have been to this Smithfield's we have had something wrong with our order. And we go here with a group at least once a month.

We were having a family reunion and I called about a week in advance to let them know about my order. Melissa was very helpful and told me she would take care of me. I arrived yesterday at the designated time. Melissa and her staff had my order to me promptly. My order was complete (nothing missing), including extra condiments. The food was good as always. Good customer service is hard to come by these days, so I greatly appreciated the customer service, professionalism and attention to detail I received from Melissa.

This place is garbage you tell them in the Drive-Thru what you would like and you asked them to put barbecue sauce on the order and then the illegal working at the window laughs in your face and doesn't even put sauce in there and then you get home with no sauce. So you apparently have to do everyone's job twice for them just to get some barbecue at a barbecue restaurant.

I had a Bar-B-Q and the cold slaw sandwich that was good the day I went there.I'm only giving a review for that one day. Because it's been days that fried chicken.....?..Let me hold my thoughts.

Had some issues with being served older, drier chicken tenders than my friend, told the staff and they brought me a fresh juicy set without being upset. It was much appreciated.
