Smithfield's on 17th Street in Wilmington NC was busy. I went there after work and now I know what it was busy. The vinegar based BBQ and baked beans were delicious. The customer service was quick considering how busy they were and they even brought it to my table. All I had to do was add some Texas Pete and eat. Place was clean staff was friendly. For the record the BBQ chicken is amazing as well melts in your mouth. They offer military and first responder discounts.
We were having a family reunion and I called about a week in advance to let them know about my order. Melissa was very helpful and told me she would take care of me. I arrived yesterday at the designated time. Melissa and her staff had my order to me promptly. My order was complete (nothing missing), including extra condiments. The food was good as always. Good customer service is hard to come by these days, so I greatly appreciated the customer service, professionalism and attention...
I had a Bar-B-Q and the cold slaw sandwich that was good the day I went there.I'm only giving a review for that one day. Because it's been days that fried chicken.....?..Let me hold my thoughts.
