I stopped here while scouting the area to hopefully move to the area. It was a great little place, very welcoming, warm and just lovely. I enjoyed it very much. If I move here I will definitely become a regular.

It’s a great coffee shop, unpretentious. And if you’re on the hunt for a good Christian girl (or guy) to introduce to your parents, there seem to be a ton of them at this shop. I’m not, but maybe someone can use this intel.

Went here for a business meeting during a weekday morning. Was very busy! But I take that as a good sign. The coffee and service were excellent, and there was plenty of seating even with it being so busy. Great atmosphere as well.

The matcha was really good and the baristas were friendly. The vibe is great and we were able to find seating. They have gluten free sweet treat options as well

Social is one of the best in wilm, delicious lattes (vanilla and saltwater cowboy are my personal favs), cute place, but parking can be a bit stressful, you may have to ride around a few times to claim a spot.

used to call this place my fav coffee in wilmington for years, the past 3 times i’ve went there have been at least 3-4 people behind the bar and only 3-4 orders but still takes at least 10 minutes to get the coffee. while watching the employees move slow and chit chat. and then my coffee isn’t even a full cup, almost a quarter empty. i mean for almost $7 i’d at LEAST like my cup to be full, even if they just add more ice to make it feel more full. smh do better. going to grumpy grandpas from now on since they also have a homemade rosemary syrup…and it’s better.

I love coming here when I want a slow & peaceful morning. The matcha and coffee is great- especially the saltwater cowboy coffee! I want one now at 10pm just thinking about it LOL

I have been to Social Coffee specifically on Wrightsville Ave about a dozen times. They have a nice, convenient neighborhood location in town. However, their medium roast coffee is routinely out/empty or not fresh. I have been served cold coffee on numerous occasions. More often than not, I have left disappointed. I am not sure if they just don’t have a good system for keeping the coffee hot or aren’t routinely checking/brewing hot coffee. Their parking lot is challenging to find a spot to park and maneuver. The atmosphere seems like an inviting and relaxing place to work/study. I would recommend going to Social Coffee on Oriole Drive instead. We have received better service and better quality coffee at that location.

i’ve given this place at least a dozen tries hoping for a better experience each time, but it never lives up to my expectations. the staff wasn’t welcoming or friendly any of the times i’ve been… i stand by the drink counter ignored and in general staff just doesn’t seem like they care about and/or want customers there. drinks/coffees are good sometimes, not so good other times. watched them take muffins out of a store-bought 4-pack and place them on the shelf after charging me $5 for one (you’d think they’d be locally made or something a little more worth the bucks)! only good thing is that it’s usually not busy and lots of seating.

Social Coffee & Supply Co. is such a cozy find in Wilmington. I came here for the first time a couple of days ago to meet friends for coffee and Bible study, and it was the perfect spot—central, easy to get to, and welcoming from the moment we walked in.

The vibe is a mix of cozy and modern, with enough seating for our group of five to sit comfortably (toddler included!) without feeling cramped or rushed. It’s the kind of place where you actually want to linger and have real conversation.

I also noticed it appears to be very dog friendly, which is a huge plus for anyone who loves to bring their pup along. Overall, a warm, community-friendly spot I’d definitely come back to for meetups with friends or if I had my dog with me.

Great coffee, I LOVE Social. It is always filled with people working on their laptops so do not be surprised if you cannot get a seat on any given day of the week, however this has never deterred me from stopping by.

Good coffee, but on my out of the parking area I hit the tree and it scuffed my vehicle badly. Beware of the tree. Drive very slowly around/by it as you leave! But I’m still giving you 4 stars.
