We were very disappointed in this place. The food was mediocre at best. We had 5 people in our party. Everyone got something different and only one person enjoyed their meal. The pork sliders were dry and tasteless. The cali burger claims to have “charred corn relish”, which was really just a few canned corn kernels sprinkled on top of a dry, unseasoned burger for $17. The truffle fries were so overdone they were almost hard. The food looks absolutely nothing like the photos on their website. One person in our party got steak quesadillas and they were very good. But the portion was very small. We were seated outside, which was fine. But there were so many bugs and flies. This is to be expected but the restaurant made no effort whatsoever to make their outdoor seating area comfortable. No fans, no citronella candles, nothing. A few tables had those little spinning swatters, but there weren’t enough for every table and we didn’t have one. Our waitress was extremely inattentive. She walked by us several times without checking to see if we needed anything. We had to ask for more water. We definitely will not be returning here.

Loved the atmosphere. Sat in a secluded corner off from the main traffic. Our server Katy was amazing. My mushroom toast with sourdough bread, mushrooms, goat cheese and truffle oil was delicious as was the shrimp and corn bisque. Topped the evening off with a light, creamy key lime brulee. Would definitely go back
When we first arrived there was only one person working behind the bar and drink orders were very backed up. We waited a long time for our drinks which also meant our server didn't come back to take app or meal orders until the drinks were ready. Food was very good and service, other than the bar, was good. Noise levels were very high, conversation with others at our table was a bit of a challenge. I noticed that a second person was working the bar a little later during our meal. It is a place we will come back to, all things considered.
Love this restaurant! Great gumbo, grits and salad—cornbread to die for. Best of all, we love the people, the owner and the wait staff. Always a good time!

Locals told our family about this place. So glad they did. We have found it difficult to find great food in Wilmington - until we landed here. Owner was very informative and sincerely desires to give his clients a great experience. Start with the delicious wings and corn bread. Awesome.

10 out of 10, found this place by accident. Miss Leah took such good care of my wife and I, Mark up front was super welcoming, the food was amazing, I don’t even like zucchini and I finished my plate. All around great vibes. We will definitely be back… weekly
