Our server was friendly but was not knowledgeable about the food. He seemed to take care of a lot of tables. The soup was just warm - hot. Food was just okay. Oysters were just okay. Large groups (there were three) were in the “dining room” and we were tucked away on the side. We've dined here before and the food was better.
Food was excellently prepared and served. It was a pre-theater dinner, and the server worked to ensure we were done in plenty of time to get to the show. We had to ask in the lobby of the hotel, how to get to the restaurant. Since the front desk was busy, we had to wait to ask for help. There were no markings to the only elevator (built in an out of sight alcove) anywhere visible. It shouldn't be so difficult to find.
We had reservations for 9 which was easily accommodated. The space and atmosphere was great. 4 of us ordered the butchers cut (14 oz ribeyes $45) and while they were all cooked correctly, mine wasn’t hot and they were all bland/didn’t seem to be seasoned at all and tough. My husband ordered the burger and they had a gluten free bun which was wonderful for him! The brussel sprouts and chocolate mouse cake was delicious! The server was great and the timing of food was reasonable....
