I had a last minute emergency to provide a cake for a very special anniversary party for a local radio station. I spoke to Donnie, and he spoke to his wife, and they produced the most magnificent cake ever. The cake itself was moist and flavorful, the icing was absolutely superb, and the decorations just blew me away. This is a fabulous bakery. I am so impressed! They couldn't have been any more wonderful!

Sugar Crystals did an outstanding job on my birthday cake. I found this bakery online and took a chance on telling them what type of cake I wanted and they Delivered!! The cake was beautifully decorated, and the taste was amazing. The almond butter cream was moist, flavorful and delicious!! I highly recommend this bakery. Mom and I visited this bakery by chance one afternoon. I asked, jokingly, which of these has the least amount of fat? Donnie, one of the owners, gave me the perfect reply! He said this was a true Southern Sweet Shop! Nothing there was gluten free, fat free or keto! ? Everything was made with real sugar, butter and flour. We bought a lil' snack and enjoyed it. That night we drooled over their website. We made a beeline for the shop the next morning! We bought three boxes full of goodies! WONDERFUL TREATS! GREAT customer service! And yes, a true Southern Sweet Shop! We WILL be back!!

Love this place! This is my Friday after school treat stop! Everything here is good. All the cakes are so moist and the frosting is delicious. Family favorites: Apple Turnovers, chocolate covered jumbo marshmallows, cake pops, key lime pie, buckeye, yellow cake with chocolate fudge icing, red velvet cake.....okay well everything is a favorite. They even have wholesale dog treats!

Sugar Crystals Baking Company has so much to offer consumers. The bakery is clean, the atmosphere is inviting, and the prices are fair. We especially appreciated the owner's hospitality and his diligence with cleanliness when preparing our order. All of the sweet treats are carefully packaged, & they taste rich and specifically prepared. It's too bad we live three states away. Wilmington is blessed to have Sugar Crystals Baking Company! Not every city has an independently owned bakery to satisfy their sweet tooth!

Excellent customer service and the cake was amazing!! I called Sugar Crystals on Easter Friday morning looking for a custom Orange Dreamsicle birthday cake for a party. I knew this was a difficult ask and was fully expecting that it would not be possible. I was amazed at how accommodating and helpful the owner was in offering to squeeze the cake in with her other Easter baking. She was a delight to work with and delivered on time on such short notice. The cake was beautiful and the flavor and sweetness was amazing!! I would definitely use her again for any baking needs! Thank you for helping to make the birthday amazing!
