We have been to Sugo multiple times. Each and every time our visit was fabulous! From the hostess desk, to the servers, to the managers the service has been top notch. They truly make you feel welcome.
We love the bacon appetizer and the carpaccio of beef. Both are delicious.
We have enjoyed the veal and pasta dishes. They are all very good. For us though, the star dishes are the steaks. The skirt steak and the filet mignon with sauces are excellent. The porterhouse for two was better than the last steak we had at Peter Luger. Each time the steaks were cooked exactly as ordered. Every steak we have had here has been outstanding! You can’t go wrong with any of the side dishes as well.
The sides we have tried have been delicious!
We always look forward to our next visit. Even the sunsets have been beautiful. They have a great view!

Sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the bartenders make all of the amazing cocktails! Lots of time and care is put into what they send out. Great conversation with them also. We will definitely come back for another date night.

Sugo is one of our friends favorite restaurants, and they suggested we go there for a special occasion dinner. Sugo did not disappoint. The steaks, which are a must order, were tender, charred, and cooked to our liking. Service was professional and polished, and the atmosphere warm and inviting, with a sophisticated, modern edge.

Highly recommend for a romantic dinner or special celebration with friends.

We sat at the bar (our preferred place to sit) and had an amazing dinner! All the food and cocktails were super tasty. The bartenders were all very friendly and made good recommendations. We cannot wait to return!

Sugo is a beautiful restaurant with just the kind of views you’d want for a romantic night out or celebration with friends. Their staff is clearly well trained and are both professional and friendly. And the food is fabulous! My husband and I went for my first night out after an extended illness, and I couldn’t have been happier with our choice. As a longtime local, I can say with confidence that it’s one of Wilmington’s top options for fine dining.

Wonderful service, atmosphere and the food is incredible! We have been several times and love to get several different things to share for the table. Highly recommend the beef carpacio, al tartufo ravioli, veal parmesan, butternut squash casserole and the truffle fries! Also, the lasagna is by far the best we have all ever had and it is HUGE so definitely share!
