Visiting Carolina Beach from Greenville SC we wanted to find a “nice” Chinese restaurant , somewhere we would sit down and ordered off a menu and get tasty food. We found this restaurant and had a wonderful meal. The staff and atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. The menu is extensive and food was delicious. Our server helped with descriptions and suggestions and he was super attentive. Our Chicken Chow Mien and cashew chicken were on point and I loved being able to have down rice. When we get back to the coast we will be back to Szechuan 123!!!

Spent 125 dollars and the food sucked.... my orange chicken had no flavor...cant taste crab in crab rangoons.. the rice and lomein had no flavor even with extra soy sauce added ps y does it look like there is tiny worms in the bottom of my food what is it??? Had to pay 4$ extra for lomein and nasty fried rice i think im going to stick to jade garden or anywhere else for that matter

The hot and sour soup really came through—spicy, soothing, and exactly what I needed while I was sick. The egg rolls and spring rolls hit the spot, and those little corn nuggets are a nice sweet extra. Every entrée we’ve tried—whether it’s the fried rice or the egg foo young—has been consistently delicious. The hot mustard is super spicy, as it should be. Everything is always perfection 👌

A terrible experience yesterday. They claimed someone took our carry out order which I think wasn't what really happened. Here's the story: When we ordered by phone to save the restaurant from paying fee to Doordash, the hostess said it would be ready in 15 minutes. We arrived just before the 15 minutes to an almost empty restaurant and I was told it would be a few minutes. I waited at the bar where the carry outs were placed for pick up. About 10 minutes later I was told it would be ready soon. About another 10 minutes later I was told someone mistakenly took my order and I was offered a drink which I declined. When the order finally came out I asked for compensation of the long wait. The gentleman told me they didn't guarantee a time that pick ups would be ready and again offered me a drink. I asked for a discount on the meal since I didn't want a drink. He then told me someone took our dinner and departed with out paying. Everyone who collected a carry out while I was there paid--and the hostess didn't tell us there was no guarantee of the pick up time. I concluded that I wasn't being told the truth by the gentleman who informed me no compensation other than a drink would be offered. I took my order and told him that we wouldn't be back. They lost a customer because they wouldn't give me compensated equal to at least what they would have paid Doordash in light of the long wait and didn't seem concerned about losing a customer. BTW, the meal wasn't as good as when we ate thee under the old management.
