Took my husband here for Father’s Day. My husband ordered Hunan chicken, I ordered orange peel chicken. Both of our chicken tasted like it came out of a freezer bag. No flavor, the orange peel chicken had zero orange peels. Our waitress acted like she was completely inept. It was the most bizarre experience. The thing that struck me was the place was packed! My son ordered chicken fried rice and it too looked as though it came from a lean cuisine meal! When my husband ordered his food he specifically said I cannot eat rice. The food came out on a bed of stale steamed rice noodles! The gentlemen that came to take my card acted as though we should have known that it came with that. It was not listed on the menu. Oh yeah and our waitress never came back, I never even saw her touch another table. We were left there until I asked my son to go up to the bar and get someone. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I think you’re better off eating something from a food court. It was truly that bad. Finally to mention the cloth napkins are obviously washed on site (restaurants normally have a service wash these) they smelled like cheap dollar tree fabric softener. I don’t want to smell a napkin that I wipe my face with.

Wonton soup, spring rolls were excellent. Ordered the Talapia fish with steamed vegetables as a combo. Absolutely delicious!

My boyfriend and I ordered takeout from this restaurant 3 days ago. When it was time to leave to pick it up, my boyfriend realized he had lost his car keys. We could not find them for an hour and a half, and in the chaos I forgot to call the restaurant and let them know we wouldn't be able to pick up our food because we were stuck at my boyfriend's house. I got a call from the restaurant and the man on the other line said that he could bring us our food. I told him it was okay and that my boyfriend and I were okay with just eating the 50 dollars because we didn't want him to drive 20 minutes in the rain. He kept insisting on bringing us our food and I found out it was the owner I was speaking to. He insisted again on bringing us our food and repeatedly said it was no problem and that it did not feel right for us to not get our food after paying for it. He brought us our food and refused to take any kind of tip. Exceptional and amazing service, my boyfriend and I were so overcome with gratitude and we will 100% be going back in person this time. The food was delicious reheated the next day! If you want to support a business in Wilmington, Szechuan 132 is a great choice!!
I took my Mom on Mothers day and although it was extremely busy (which is good sign that food is fresh ) the people who work there could not have been nicer and more kind. Yes the food took longer than usual to come out but it was sooooo worth the wait. it is THE BEST Chinese restaurant in town (i have been searching for a good one for 3 years now) I will never go anywhere else. I come from Boston which has an abundance of great Chinese food options so aching for great Chinese food for 3 years comes to a stop now! I have found the place to go!!! I'll be back next week ! LOL

This is exactly what you want. They have a wide variety of well executed options. Mostly szechuan but lots of international options. We had velvet corn soup, spicy triple delight and orange beef. All were expertly executed and the service was really excellent. We felt taken care of and would absolutely go back. Big fan.
