This place is overrated. The milk teas are full of artificial favors blended with teas. With the price tag of $8/ small drink, I expected more authentic favors. The staffs were friendly, but the price is too high for the quality.
It's sad to see their quality is deteriorating. I go often when visiting my daughter at UNCW. I asked for an Oolong tea refresher, and the drink was clear! I even asked if the tea was oolong, which, at the very least, should have a light maroon color. Tea was insipid, with a sour aftertaste. The extra tapioca I requested was not added. For $8.50, we should not have these issues.
My experience here has been wonderful from the first time coming here over a year ago we have received the same top notch services every time no matter who the bobarista .We’ve tried several places here and in Myrtle Beach,SC. No one has matched the quality taste aswell as the authenticity they have. Well , one other place where we love the boba tea was in Hawaii. Love you Tap Tea bar off of Racine dr. in wilmington , nc .If you haven’t tried it yet you should.?
