I used to visit Whole Foods on a daily basis. Before the c19 Whole Foods Wilmington was amazing. Yesterday we decided it was time to go back and was sadly disappointed. The Hot bar was super neglected the food was old and dry. Plus, as a kicker they only had one hot bar open. The salad bar looked sad and needed to be tended to. The Pizza at the pizza bar had been sitting under the heat lamps way to long. We did like the way the cakes looked on display. But we did end up just leaving. C'mon Whole Foods Wilmington step up your game. You are way better than this!

If you eat out frequently, it's nice to have options and Whole Foods offers that. Great hot bar and salad bar with many options to make everyone in your group happy. The vegans, carnivores, vegetarians, gluten-free, low-card people in your group will all find something to make them happy. Check out is generally quick but the seating area, although large, can fill up quickly. Be prepared to take it to go.

Good food on the hot bars - to eat there or take away. We took away and had a very good meal at home - with Vanna and Pat.

I'm always able to find those "hard to find" items at this Whole Foods Market. I'm a doctor, herbalist and acupuncturist and I make products for patients. They keep a nice assortment of herbal products and many natural products which makes it easy for me when I suggest things for patients.

I had a quick business meeting in the Cafe. We sat at one of the tables in the Cafe over "Coffee and Desserts". They have some excellent varieties of pastries and we both enjoyed our pastries and coffee/soda while discussing business. They also have some nice looking entrees if you choose to have lunch or dinner.

$40 for vegan meal for two. Picking up preorderd, PREPAID food was weird experience. No one seemed to know where I could pick up my food in store. (Usually there is a desk set up for this). 3 employees later, FINALLY guided to deli area, 5+ minutes later lady brings out what appears to be a plethora of bulky food containers in a box, saying everything was PREPAID. (Yes, I know, because I paid!). I go to checkout with other groceries, too. I hand cashier paperwork, and I explain that this food was PRE-PAID, here’s the receipt. She nods, states that she understands. We talk about it. She rings up prepaid food plus my groceries for me to pay for. I say no way. She says now, after being caught, that she doesnt understand, did not “know” if I had really paid for prepaid food. (???!) I am STUNNED, because she is basically robbing me while treating me like a criminal. I shop here regularly and am appalled. I tell her, YES YOU KNEW IT WAS PREPAID, BECAUSE YOU ARE HOLDING THE RECEIPT, AND YOU SAID YOU KNEW IT WAS PREPAID, PRIOR TO ADDING IT TO MY OTHER GROCERIES. She claims to “not know how to read” my prepaid food receipt. Shifty as hell!.... She finally has other person ‘figure out’ her alarming, purposely-committed act of thievery. I get home and look at the foods and am SHOCKED. Food looked NOTHING like pictures. It’s SLOP! Cauliflower dish was, literally, just a large, dull, cooked cauliflower... is this REALLY what Whole Foods thinks vegans eat?? Wt heck?? A tin full of bread chunk “stufffing” tastes OFF. Desert cake was ok, but all this is NOT worth anywhere near $40. Very weird tasting, highly acidic, non edible. Had to throw most out, as tasted and WAS BAD. Better off buying salad bar food or microwaving a potato. Poured some of the iced Califa mocha cold brew coffee, which poured out IN CHUNKS, also 100% spoiled. I checked the DATE on Califa, which was March, 2019 —-3 Months away. So, Whole Foods must not have refrierated this item properly. VILE! I will not be returning to this store, as this was so bad, and I would NEVER TRUST THEM with my foods. Shame on you, Whole Foods for selling meals which look NOTHING like the pictures, selling rotting foods, and charging a regular customer TWICE for a prepaid holiday meal. Your cashier is robbing your customers. I caught her. BYE!

Fresh and interesting food bar for all meals. Plenty of vegetarian options, too. Pizza by the slice is another tasty option.

A big thank you to Shannon! Today was a busy day as the employees seemed to be stocking up for Thanksgiving. There were cart-traffic jams all over the place. That said, it is right before a holiday and I've been here at least three times before and have never seen so many people at once! Anyway, I was standing in aisle looking lost as I was trying to gather ingredients for a few recipes. While she was stocking, Shannon stopped and asked if she might be of any assistance. I told her yes and what I was looking for and it so happened that there was another woman standing nearby who was looking for the same thing and hadn't said anything either! We were led directly to where we needed to go and Shannon even looked up some of the ingredients I was looking for to compare and contrast the effects they would have in my pies. Above and beyond expectation. I've always had a pleasant experience at this place with all working there and I finally had to leave a review after the service today. I imagine it's a stressful environment for grocery stores around the holidays but I never felt any of that coming off of any employees despite everyone else running around. I'll be coming back :) Thank you!

Visiting from Australia and found whole foods market to be our regular supermarket due to the many healthy and nutritious vegan food options provided. Price was reasonable. We really liked that you could grab a container and fill it with the many hot or cold options they had available and eat in store. Food was very tasty at this store in particular. We need one of these stores in Australia.
