Best street tacos, burritos, and salsa in Wilmington! So quick, so good, and super friendly service. We’ve only done takeout but always say we need to dine in sometime. They have a delicious looking drink menu!

Great food usually, but I recently found a hair in my food. Turned me off from the excitement of going there!

**Authentic Mexican Flavor at Taqueria Los Portales 1!**
Taqueria Los Portales 1 is a hidden gem in Wilmington for authentic Mexican food! The tacos are absolutely amazing—packed with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. From the perfectly seasoned meats to the fresh salsas, everything tastes homemade and authentic. Their street tacos are a standout, but the entire menu offers something special.
The service is friendly and quick, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. If you're craving real Mexican cuisine, **Taqueria Los Portales 1** is a must-try!

Los Portales is a favorite when I'm in Wilmington. The Cubano Torta is a must, if you're familiar with a Cuban sandwich, you get the idea. However it has some excellent additions, including avocado slices and a marinade is involved. It's the one to get! Guac is excellent.

The manager or person who gave me service was very very rude. I buy pico de gallo here all the time, and they overcharged me and gave me less than they usually do.

The food was delicious. We ordered ceviche, mojarra frita, carne asada, huarache, guacamole, quesadilla, and some tacos. The food was tasty, but the tortilla chips were not crispy, but they had a taco bar with homemade sauces, cucumbers, limes, pico de gallo... that really set them apart

Restaurantji Recommends
I ordered a mojarra and apparently it was a disguised sardine because it was too small for the price, and in no way did it taste good because it looked like it had been fried in motor oil, it tasted horrible. . Apart from that, the tacos are also too small, I don't know what has changed, I have come before and the food was super different that you could eat to your heart's content. I'M NOT GOING TO COME BACK. It's not worth spending so much for such bad food. I do not recommend it. From 1 to 10 my score is minus 10

It's a real one. The topping bar takes it over the top. The steak is seasoned so well.

This is my first negative review on a restaurant but I have to be honest. The menudo tasted a few days old/bad definitely not fresh. I let the waitress know about it and she did ask if I wanted anything else besides that but I opted out on anything else. The caldo de res looked fresh but there was a piece of meat that tasted bad for some reason maybe they mixed old with new but it was edible. Not the best Mexican around Wilmington.
