Such a good spot! Came here for a birthday dinner and had great food and lots of fun. We started with the Arancini & bruschetta as apps. The best part was the entree because they have a cheese wheel the use for one of their pastas that was fun to watch! The gave us a cannoli as a birthday dessert too. Will definitely come back.

I had a dear friend that had hopes of enjoying a joyous birthday dinner and the welcoming staff were not so welcoming. The guile and discuss on the hosts face when we walked in was disheartening. Instead of inviting us to take a seat and wait to be seated, she took our name and number and suggested we leave; stating she would call us once a table was ready. There were plenty of empty tables from the view that we had. I strongly do not recommend this establishment for any event. This happened 3 days ago. As I type this message, we are still waiting on that text.

Terrible experience with an inexperienced staff. Made a reservation for a party of ONE for standard seating. I was seated outside after waiting more than 20 minutes past my reservation time. Then sat for nearly another 20 mins (server passed me several times, never said a word). Even if it wasn’t his section, acknowledgement would have been appreciated. They were CLEARLY drowning and not one employee asked for grace or apology until I got up to leave. What happened to southern hospitality?

Have wanted to try Tarantellis since we moved down here. Finally made it last night when my son was in town. Staff was very nice, helpful, professional and courteous. Restaurant is very nice with lots of exposed brick. The four all had something different. Wife had scallops with farro risotto, son had gnocchi with shrimp, daughter had pasta with creamy mushroom sauce and I had a similar dish but mine had Italian sausage and sun dried tomatoes. Everything was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

My wife and I had a late (for us) Friday evening reservation (7:30pm). Glad we left home and arrived early as parking was difficult to come by and we ended up parking at the market street garage.We arrived shortly before our reservation and a table was available shortly after. It seemed to be fairly busy, but certainly not at capacity.We ordered an app and it was quickly ready. Our server was attentive and she ended up apologizing for the wait as our main courses did take an unusually long time to arrive (almost an hour) after our appetizer.The portions were unusually large for an upscale Italian restaurant. Generally upscale Italian tends to prioritize visual appearance over quality portions. I'm happy to report you won't go home hungry here.All and all the food was pretty good. It isn't cheap and it isn't somewhere to go if you are in a hurry. Your paying $30+ for most entrees, so again the portion sizes help with the value. It was our anniversary and they gave us a nice canoli with a chocolate "Happy Anniversary".We had a gift card and there was some issues with the internet and it further delayed our getting out of there, but our sever was very kind and apologized numerous times for all the waiting, so my huntch is in general it isn't as slow moving as we experienced. It was just before 10pm we finally walked out.

We had reservations for 5:45pm. We arrived 20 mins early and the hostess wouldn’t seat us, even though NO ONE was sitting in the bar area. All the tables were empty. Our waiter was very friendly and made up for the unwelcoming rude behavior of the hostess. The Chicken Parm was very good.

First experience here, and Tyler did not disappoint! He was the most personable waiter we've had in a while. The food was what I'd expect for "authentic" Italian- Very rich cheese and savory flavors. The Pollo alla Parmigiano was amazing. The drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back.

We had reservations and checked in a little early. We were seated a few minutes after our reservation time. Immediately after sitting we were given water which was nice. Our server came and took our drink order while we looked over the menus. We decided on the cheese wheel pasta and flank steak. While we waited in our entrees we were served bread and oil. My husband said the bread and oil was bland (I didn't try it). The cheese wheel was quite entertaining since it was prepared table side. The noodles were hallow to allow more sauce to absorb the cheese. My husband and son loved the first few bites but then said it became too cheesy for them. Both said it started to taste only like cheese and salt. If you love Parmesan this is probably for you. I am guessing I probably would have loved it but I am on a low carb diet so I resisted. The skirt steak was amazing and the broccoli rabe was the best I've ever had. My food was expertly seasoned and cooked perfectly. I absolutely loved my meal!!!!!!! I wish I had gotten a better photo. It came out blurry (I was trying not to be obvious when I took the pic since the dining room is very open). It was a little loud in there and the way the tables were positioned it felt like if you were starting at another table. . . Our server was great and extremely helpful.

The food was fabulous. The specials of the day were great. The flavors just burst in your mouth. The service was exactly what you would expect at such a high end place. We live hours away but we will go back there again when in town. It is worth the trip. The prices may seem on the high end for the city, but we are here to say it is worth every dime.
