Everything was great! Best authentic Mexican food I’ve had in a while! I have always gotten fajitas quesadillas because it was a “safe” option when I didn’t love a tone of peppers/spicy Mexican food. Now my pallet has expanded and I absolutely loved this! Just a fair warning to any basic white girls like me 😅

I can't say enough about the experience we had here. First and foremost the restaurant is clean and well maintained. Second the service is above and beyond. By the time we were finished we had made new friends. Now to the good stuff, the food. Holy cow. Home made tortillas. They definitely set the bar high for the quality and presentation of our meal. Im vegetarian and they made me the best vegetarian nachos I've ever had. My husband had the street tacos. We understand why they are voted the #1 best Mexican restaurant in Wilmington. You have to go here. All I can say is I'm still thinking about how good our meal was. YUM!

You want chips and queso or guacamole and a margarita with a nice atmosphere? This is the place in Wilmington. The service is pleasant and far surpasses the other similar places in town. I know it seems further going all the way to Monkey Junction but maybe hit up Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart and the new Target that's being built next to it. It's worth the drive.

I was able to reserve for large group after my elopement and this restaurant did not disappoint! They were super accommodating and the service was amazing! The young woman that took all of our order got everything right and was super attentive and personable! She made our experience amazing! The food was also delicious! I had the salmon with the hibiscus sauce and the empanadas and it was the best food I’ve ever had! This place is a must try!

Extraordinarily disappointed with our experience at Tequila Comida tonight. A member of our party received shrimp that were undercooked, so she politely asked that they be cooked more. When the plate returned, the shrimp still weren’t fully cooked and did not appear to have been grilled at all, so she said no thank you and handed the plate back without eating a bite. When the bill came, we were still charged for the plate, and after expressing frustration with the manager, we were told “it was cooked so someone must pay.” Additionally, we were highly disappointed that there wasn’t a single vegetarian option on the menu.

Tequila Comida & Cantina was recommended by our neighbor, and we were really impressed with our dinner and the attention from staff. Excellent house margarita, three levels of salsa that were all outstanding, and the best fajitas we have ever had (really!). Very generous portions of steak, chicken and shrimp for our fajitas. It is a great place for dinner, and I recommend it to everyone.

Reetzi is an amazing server. We have had her a couple of times now and plan to ask for her again. Food is amazing and I would highly recommend the mole if you like mole. Some of the best I’ve had. Chicken fajita quesadilla was amazing also and the best margaritas!!
