Great, attentive, helpful waiter (Anson) for our table of 7! He was helpful with the menu, responsive to requests, and always willing to accommodate whatever we needed. Everyone enjoyed their entrees (burrito bowl, creamy poblano enchiladas, fajita quesadilla, and street tacos) and we will definitely be back!

First time at Tequila's waterfront Great views, food and outstanding service. Loved the Paloma cocktail , mole poblano sauce with sesame seeds on enchiladas was delicious as was the mole poblano fajita !! We will be back ! Amazing atmosphere :)

Tequila Waterfront is one of the best places to host an event in Wilmington, North Carolina. You can rent the top floor and balcony out (it has the prettiest river view in downtown). It is the perfect spot for a wedding reception, a corporate event, a fun DJ show, or anything your heart desires. When you call, ask for Rachel. She is one of the best event coordinators and will hook you up!

My husband and I came here for dinner before attending a show at the Wilson center. The restaurant was super clean and had an amazing atmosphere. Our server was super sweet and fast. The food was amazing and our drinks were super tasty. Definitely coming back!

AWFUL. we just had the absolute worst service i have ever experienced. when we first walked in, we werenât even greeted and the host just kept on in conversation with the other worker. no hey, no how are you, just suddenly âhow many.â we were then seated after about 20 mins and our waitress then asked about drinks, everyone ordered drinks and it took about 20-30 mins to get those and then i never even got mine. she told us twice that she was going to bring mine and never did. not one single refill the whole time. never checked on us. never asked if we needed anything. she still tried to charge us for the drink i never got, had to ask for it to be taken off twice. we had more service from the other two servers running around than her. she thought it was funny we were treated that way and according to her, her manager thought it was funny as well. i wouldnât recommend to anyone. we are on a bachelorette trip and our brides night was ruined because of this. i wouldnât recommend hope whoever the owner is will look into this because this is unacceptable. -a concerned business owner who would be extremely disappointed in my manager and waitress.

Server absolutely sucked! We had to ask other servers for things we needed, we never got refills and one of us didnât even get her drink! She had multiple tables and we were the only one she didnât check on! Would not recommend to anyone! She thought it was hilarious that we had a horrible time!

Chris is hands-down the best server Iâve ever had â anywhere. (Other than Marina Grill of course). From the very start, he greeted us with such warmth and energy that it instantly set the tone for the entire meal. He has that rare ability to be incredibly attentive without ever hovering, somehow anticipating what we needed before we even asked. Drinks were always refreshed, food came out perfectly timed, and every request was handled with ease and a genuine smile.
What really sets Chris apart is the way he makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table. His professionalism, charm, and genuine care transformed an ordinary night out into an experience weâll remember. If I could give him more than five stars, I absolutely would. Every restaurant needs a Chris â but thereâs only one, and we were lucky enough to have him.
