I chose this place based on its ratings. We sat at the counter (1950's style). The service was friendly and quick. My husband got the special of the day and omelette with pork belly. He had a side of grit cakes with pimento cheese. He actually said "culinary delight" in describing his meal. I had a couple of bites and had to agree (this time ?). I had the oatmeal blue berry pancakes which I found very delicious. The atmosphere was bright and energetic.
My brother and I went for brunch Sunday and I was surprised by everything I tasted. Not only was it just pretty to look at, but there was a little unexpected in every dish. The meat in his southern Benedict was flavored with cola, which gave it the perfect amount of sweetness. My crab cake eggs Benedict was not a crab cake on an English muffin, but a poached egg on a crab cake and my mind was blown. ? Would definitely go here again, maybe to try the lunch options. Be prepared...
This place was cute & amazing! The omelette was perfectly cooked paired wonderfully with sautéed spinach, and the French toast was delicious and not overly sweet. Our server was warm and attentive. The rustic atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy our meal. I highly recommend for a perfect breakfast experience!
