We just discovered this neighborhood restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. Kyle, our server was great and the food was delicious. We went for burger night and ordered 2 vegetable sides. Both were excellent and fresh, and the burgers were very good.

I dined here on Friday night 11/14 with my husband, and 3 friends. I randomly found this place on a google search and it didn’t disappoint. The menu is very diverse. I had the steak Philly salad and it was delish! My husband had the chicken Genevieve and our friends had the red snapper special w/yellow rice & green beans, filet with mashed/asparagus, and a margarita pizza. All dishes were great. The margarita pizza was very sauce heavy (which is my jam), but my friend thought it could’ve used more cheese and basil. Our waiter, Michael, was very entertaining and made our experience a fun one. The owner was also there (Russell?) and he was very engaging and excited about his place. I highly recommend a steak dish as I thought the cuts and cook were amazing. We will be back!

What a great neighborhood eatery! We went for a casual weeknight dinner and they didn't disappoint -- Just as you would want in your neighborhood hang out, fresh food, great service, lovely owner and wait staff, friendly staff throughout the venue, and plenty of regulars (a good sign!). Our waiter, Mikel, was fun to chat and just the right amount of attentive - the owner was super friendly and food was great versions of easy favorites (pizza night). The place was steadily busy, but we were well tended to - and we really enjoyed the comfortable outdoor seating in early fall. Definitely would go back!

Two of the WORST meals we have ever tried to eat. First, they are out of stock on the bottle of wine we ordered, No problem. Next as we are ordering our meal the waitress is twirling her finger in her hair (egh) she informs us that the two main staples on the menu are not available, ok we finally decided on our meals. Overcooked Fish, and shrimp sooo tough and salty. It was a comedy of errors. Would only recommend this Restaurant to people I do not like.

This restaurant is a hidden gem of Wilmington, NC. It's tucked off the main roads but easy to get to. The well-stocked bar is matched with top-notch food and excellent service. My wife had the short rib and I got the ribeye. Both were excellent. Dessert was a chocolate chip cookie skillet with vanilla ice cream, which was top-notch.

Great atmosphere, including a piano player and singer on our Saturday night. Friendly staff happy to share recommendations and insights. Everything you want for a memorable date night or just a nice meal.

We had an amazing dinner at The Cardinal! The short rib was unbelievably tender and flavorful—easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The ribeye was cooked perfectly, juicy and rich, and packed with flavor in every bite. To finish, we shared the chocolate chip cookie skillet dessert, which came out warm, gooey, and absolutely decadent—the perfect ending to the meal. Loved the piano!

First time here and everything was amazing. We all lift the apps, entrees and cocktails. The service was also attentive and happy to accommodate our specific requests. The owner also checked on us and was eager for feedback and suggestions on the food and cocktails but I had nothing to offer since we all enjoyed everything so much. We also found the menu to offer a good range in prices so there is something for everyone’s budget.
