The Cardinal Restaurant

Had a spur of the moment date night. First time visiting the Cardinal, but definitely will not be our last. The owner Russel came around to make sure everything was to our liking. Very personable and pleasant. The food was amazing and the service, top-notch. We highly recommend visiting The Cardinal, and have the special!! Whatever it may be!! Thank you Russell, and the entire staff, we will see you again soon!

First time eating there. Just moved in up the street and walked over with my wife. Awesome place and amazing food. Owner came out and introduced himself. If you’re in the area or close by don’t miss this place. They have great weekly specials as well. I will definitely return.

We had a wonderful meal last night. It was my birthday dinner and Marco made it special for my family and me. The food was delicious as was the ambiance and atmosphere. From the appetizers to the entrees to desserts Marco was attentive and helpful with suggestions. We'll be back soon!!!

We had dinner at The Cardinal for the second time in 2 weeks and absolutely loved it! We requested Marco who was our waiter the first time we visited because of his excellence service and personality. We will surely ask for him every time and will definitely be back soon! Great restaurant, great food and great staff!!

Our large family had a wonderful celebration for my aunt’s 83rd birthday. The food and service were superb, thanks to Marco. Can’t wait to go back!

This was our second time here and same problems as the first time. Steak does not come out cooked to temperature. It should not be difficult to cook when you ask for rare to medium rare. It should not come out med well to practically well. My Short Ribs were barely warm as was the risotto but was flavoraful. The highlight were the Brussel Sprouts. At 7pm on a Saturday you should not be out of bread as well as a filet when it's on your regular menu not a special. Your hostess that takes reservations and seats you is amazing. Lots of character and engaging. Our server barely checked on us after we got food I guess because we had to send something back. Lastly you would think that a manager or someone would come and apologize for the inconvenience of having to send an entree back..

Great neighborhood food hub. We love that we can always come here and get really good food without the big to-do of “going out”. Russel always delivers a good meal in a chill environment.

Visited to hear pianist, Landon McClellan, perform and had dinner, as well. Feature was blackened corvina and it was cooked to perfection. Enjoyed a bourbon cocktail, The Mountaineer. Loved everything about it! Madison, our server, was attentive and did not hover unnecessarily, and cleared items from table, as needed. The hostess also came to check on how things were going, as well as Russell, one of the owners. Definitely will be back and enjoy a selection of their small plates.

We celebrated our 43 year wedding anniversary at The Cardinal. The food, service was outstanding! Highly recommend going there for dinner. A definite neighbor hood atmosphere that invites you back !
