Perfect meal after a long day at the beach. Ample booths comfortably seating 6 whereas most would barely fit 4. And fantastic menu making the choice hard to make. Our wait staff Gianna(?) could not have been more helpful, attentive, and accommodating with recommendations. I had the black and bleu burger--so good. And they didn't skimp on the bread as some do; potato roll was flavorful. Ingredients fresh. I was concerned with not being able to select cook temperature, but it was perfect, about medium well and juicy. I wanted just a side portion of the Greek salad, which I was grateful they accommodated (I didn't leave a bite in the bowl--so good!). Others enjoyed the crab cake (no filler! Well done -- and we get the MD ones as we're DMV, so can confirm it doesn't disappoint); classic burger; pimento burger; and wings. Plates were cleared. Don't miss those onion rings. Flavorful, ample. Definitely worth it. Great vibe, folks enjoying the bar with delicious cocktails and games on the TVs. We would go again.

The Copper Penny was recently recommended by a friend and so I went on a Monday night and they were really busy, but we scored seats at the bar. The staff at the bar taking care of us and all the other patrons were great and always on-point! The menu is incredible! It’s loaded with the typical pub-type stuff, but is made so elevated compared to what you might be used to. They do have some interestingly unique items as well. I had a tough time deciding, but the items I did choose were incredible!
Their 109 Chestnut Chicken Sandwich was excellent! I don’t like mushrooms, so I got jalapeños in lieu of them and that was a much better way to go! The chicken was thinly sliced and the bread was soft and incredible – It all came together amazingly well! I can see why it was featured on DDD!!!
Their onion rings are INSANELY HUGE! They were thick too! The sauce that came with them was very tasty to dip into and the batter was light and excellently seasoned! Their wings are also perfect! Meaty and packed with flavor. You can get two sauces on them, so we got Fire Dry Rub and Honey Chipotle. Both of these flavors were great and both were nicely spiced.
Definitely worth visiting here!!

Stuffed 7 of us in one of their booths, didn't offer coffee, funny taste to the onion rings... added a large group fee of $30 then expected a tip.. quite the shock when I got the bill hmm

Very cool vibe, with quick friendly service. The server was right at our table as soon as we were seated and answered all of our questions on the menu. She gave us some good recommendations, and the were spot on. If I am ever in the area again this would be a go to spot.

Great food, great staff! Unfortunately too small to accommodate the basics- long wait, rushed service, parking too expensive- were literally offered to go boxes 10 mins after receiving appetizer than asked to vacate our table 50 mins into sitting down, would not recommend for large families.
We’ve been several times and the food is delicious.

I’m from Philly, so a few people said l would like this place. I ordered the roast pork sandwich. It’s an enjoyable and tasty sandwich, but not authentic style to Philly. I was speaking with one of the owners and she said she knows it’s not authentic. The sharp provolone and broccoli rabe would not sell down here. Which l understood. So if you want a tasty sandwich they have it, just don’t expect DiNic’s or John’s. As a side note, the roll is some of the best bread I have had in town so far.
