Exactly what it’s supposed to be: an urban hangout bar. Very comfortable for sports and/or large gatherings. Warm and cozy yet spacious and comfortable. And the bartenders/staff are extremely friendly.

I wish I could give 10 stars.I came in on the one snow storm we had in the last 6 years on the beautiful coast of Wilmington. I’d like to consider myself a regular but this day was special to me. A hospitality level I’ll never forget. I had some ice on my UGG boot and tripped- Alonzo caught me mid fall. Possibly concussed- I found refuge in The Husk. Alonzo nursed be back to health with perfectly salted tater tots & home made Jell-O shots. If I believed in Disney fairytales- I would believe The Husk (while Alonzo is working) could make that a reality. After I was recovered he actually taught me how to play the meanest most calculated game in pool. I feel so sad for people who will never experience Alonzo’s kindness and warm heart. Long live Alonzo and long live the husk .

Husk is one of my go to spots! The staff is great and the food is top notch. The staff member alonzo always is super respectful and brings great energy to the business. Me and my friends have a great time when visiting him at the bar! Will continue to be a regular because of this man! Keep up the great work!

Your staff member Alonzo NEEDS to be dealt with. He is aggressive beyond reason, wants to fight customers for no reason, I’ve seen it happen to multiple people. He is a loose wire and extremely violent. I’ve seen him wake up a sleeping person screaming at them that he is going to beat them up and chased them down the street completely unprovoked. Husk is no longer a safe space so don’t expect it to be.
