The crowd brought nonstop energy, the drinks were solid, and it felt like the perfect mix of local bar vibe and big-game excitement. Great spot to watch football with friends — I’d absolutely go back for another big game.

The drinks? Dangerous. Not because they’re bad—because they’re too good and sneak up on you like a plot twist in a third act. The staff is awesome: friendly, chill, and clearly knows this place is special. No rush, no chaos, just good energy and good pours.
Perfect for dates, friend hangs, or solo “main character” nights. If you like movies, drinks, and pretending you’re in an indie film for a few hours, The Rift is the move.

Really cute bar! 🩷 I love the atmosphere. It’s kept so clean, the bartenders are so nice, and the drinks are so good. I’ve had the chicken nachos and the Kahuna Kahuna pizza and they were both so good! I love the outside areas, it’s so cute in the summer and the winter. The outside winter igloo tents that they set up are so cute. I love outdoor movie nights and I’m here right now for the super bowl! Such a nice place to hangout with people :)

The rift is the best spot in Wilmington! The atmosphere is fun, plenty of seating, and the BEST owners/bartenders in town! They are family and leashed dog friendly! If you are a sports fan they have numerous screen options to watch what you want! They host fun and entertaining events year round that you don’t want to miss! The pizza and food is a newer perk and is all delicious!! Love the rift!!

The drinks rotate with the seasons, the events are either niche in the best way or perfectly timed with whatever everyone’s obsessed with, and the pizza is unreal. Whether you’re going all in or barely drinking, it still hits. I’ve genuinely never had a bad time here.

It was too loud outside for me to enjoy the atmosphere. It seemed as if everyone had a dog in there. The pizza we ordered was paper thin and burnt. Our favorite sports team won so thats a positive.
