Never went in, so not sure about atmosphere. Ordered take out and he actually brought it out to me today. Burger was fresh, and delicious. Highly recommend. Stop by if everything is as good you can't go wrong. I'll be returning!

I don't usually write these kinds of reviews, but after seeing my daughter's disappointed face, here it is. She wanted to try a new burger place, so she found this place on Google and didn't hesitate to ask us to come here. As soon as we approached the door, an employee came out and told us they can't allow anyone under 21 to enter. Despite the fact that it doesn't say so on Google or any of their social media pages, we understood, but we asked if we could eat outside on their deck, and that wasn't possible either. We just said thanks and went back to our car to look for new seats. We found a great one with excellent service, and best of all, they accept children. So, thank you.

Simply the best Chicken Tenders I've had in the Wilmington area. Big fan of the Angus Bacon Burger Deluxe w/ Waffle Fries, too. Not your average bar food. Very impressed with The Xtra Mile!

Got a seafood plate and chicken sandwich plate to go. WOW!! one of the best seafood plates ive ever ate, and my wife loved her chicken sandwich too! A little hard to find the actual restaurant itself, but once I did I was happy!! Had a yummy shrimp burger where the shrimp was so big it was falling out. Great onion rings too! Highly recommend food from Xtra Mile in person or ToGo. Always great to eat while watching live music at Seven Mile Post - the best neighborhood bar in town!

The food was good but they won't allow you to quickly enter with a service animal to pick up your take-out delivery. Burger was the right amount of greasy and if you are a soft person then don't skimp on the boom boom sauce!

My wife and I were in town roaming around as we do and we decided to get some lunch. After a brief search on Google, we decided to check out The Xtra Mile. We both decided on the Bacon Burger Deluxe. Both of our burgers were cooked perfectly and were delicious.
The batter on the chicken and fish is life changing. I’ve had a confirmed best fish n chips for 10 years from a cozy little spot in Hillsborough, NC. If you’ve been to Hillsborough you know what I’m talking about. BUT if you get this “fish plate” fresh; you will eat something that will shock your taste buds. I’m sure the burgers are great but I can’t stray away from their fried fish and shrimp because it’s that good. Also I always get an extra piece of fish, so don’t let the picture fool you.

0/10, do not recommend. I was barely granted the opportunity to close my tab after getting kicked out for using what was perceived to be the “wrong” bathroom by security(?)/staff. There was no “don’t do it again” or “please use the left most bathroom next time”, just a “you need to leave”. Mind you, there are two bathrooms and both doors are kept wide open. I didn’t notice any signage indicating gender.
The person that took offense at the bathroom choice stated they’d get the tab closed. I waited and waited outside and there was no activity. Finally a second employee came out, I pleaded my case and they were kind enough to bring out my tab so I could close it.
YIKES.
