Food is always delicious! Service is always excellent! Atmosphere is perfect and cozy! Ashton is incredible and we appreciate her pleasant and accommodating personality! Tidewater is one of our favorite restaurants in Wilmington!

Hands down the best pull and eat shrimp in town! The Oysters are always fresh and love the rotating options. I haven't had a bad meal yet and love the weekly special options. 10/10!

Ashton was an awesome server, very knowledgeable about all of their dishes and gluten free options!! Highly recommend her and Tidewater Oyster Bar, great and delicious food and service!! Manager Lindsay was also wonderful and very helpful.

Unfussy environment, outdoor seating is up against the parking lot but the umbrellas help the look. GREAT oysters. Gumbo was tasty. There are some GF options. Also a GF dessert!

Great spot. Good food. Some of the best hush puppies I’ve had. Blackened flounder and ship were on point. Gumbo was very very good.

My husband and I had dinner last night with our newborn baby girl. We were celebrating our anniversary and everything couldn’t have been more perfect. Our food was delicious as always and the service was excellent. The waitress made our night even more special by offering a sweet desert in celebration for our anniversary. We’ve always loved eating at tidewater and now it will be one of our go-to spots with our baby girl.

Absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared seafood! Highly recommend the oysters, fried shrimp, and as of last night.. the low country boil! So happy this restaurant is right in our neighborhood!

Tidewater exceeded my expectations at every turn. Their service was phenomenal and their food was even better! The oysters on the half shell were some of the best I’ve ever had, especially for local oysters (YUM!), the tuna tacos were perfectly balanced with acid, heat, and sweet. The fried okra was easily the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot). And the crown jewel? Their crab legs! Juicy, perfectly cooked, and sizable! We can’t wait to go back.
