First time going, the place was dead but service was quick and friendly. Their sushi is pretty good but not the best. Prices are standard. I probably wouldn't go back just because I prefer bento box sushi.

Sushi was just not good today. Got 2 simple rolls, smelled kind of fishy - rice was dry and nori was chewy. Other group members got more dressed-up rolls, have to wonder if 101 is masking old fish and rice with all the sauce and eggs and cereal.

Food was sub par at best. Appetizers were cold and mushy. Soup had the amora of cat pee and everything in my bento box just tasted off not good. The soda was awful got two different kinds and both tasted terrible! Sushi was bland and underwhelming. I used to love this place would go all the time. I moved out of state and am back visiting for the holidays and I don't know if they have new management, but YUCK and I definitely won't be back.
Ordered Take out Dinner Box (New York Strip) and chicken habachi. Everything was just really bland…I’ve had a lot of habachi at a lot of places + I served at a habachi and sushi restaurant. It’s just not really flavorful or seasoned at all. It’s like they just use black pepper. Even the white sauce is bland, looks like they didn’t add enough cayenne pepper, tomato paste, or paprika. Was pretty much just liquid mayo. Won’t go back. You’re better off going to Okami (not as good atmosphere but wayyyy better food)

Food was unexpectedly spectacular! We almost walked right by the place and have no regrets stopping in. The staff was over the top good and absolutely made it a memorable meal. Thanks everybody, shout out to the kitchen!
Parking: Plenty of it you just can't park right in front of the building.

Walked in at 8:20 pm and was greeted by a RUDE hostess that said the kitchen closes at 8:45 and she slammed the menus on the table. There are nicer ways to tell customer's that you close at a certain time. I will be telling friends and family to avoid this place.

Staff was amazing and friendly everything was to great extent clean the atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing. Been to a lot of Japanese food places…this had to be the blandest Udon Soup Ive had tried. Maybe will give another chance and tried something else.

*Gluten Free Review* I recently went to this restaurant because of other reviews stating now they can do GF. I used to love this restaurant but since getting diagnosed I had not been back. Hibachi is the only gluten free option on menu. The taste was not the best and very salty. I seemed to be okay for about 1 hour. After that I got so sick! I believe I got glutened. I am not sure what it was because I also got a bit of the white sauce but will not be going back to this restaurant.

I had the salmon bento box and it was very good. However, my husband had the filet mignon bento and the steak was chewy, dry and not at all what a filet mignon ought to taste like. He was disappointed with his choice.

Went into Tokyo 101 at 7:40 on a Wednesday evening. About 7 tables were occupied. I was in a party of three. We were seated immediately, then proceeded to wait 20 minutes without being acknowledged, before a hostess came by to say our waitress was busy, and could she get us drinks? We asked for three waters and she brought 2. We waited for another 15 minutes and still were not approached by any employee. Finally, we decided to leave, as we had already had to move our movie ticket times and did not want to miss our second showing time. We were not acknowledged as we left the restaurant either, even while passing both hostesses we had interacted with.

Seated immediately, but server was nowhere to be seen. My group and I sat for a full 30 minutes without so much as a hello from a server. The two hostesses brought my group of 3 a total of 2 glasses of water and said the waiters were busy, but never brought a 3rd glass of water. Service was nonexistent here.
