Lighting a little dim...fries a little salty...all that said ...wonderful place service excellent.

Steaks were great, as usual. Burnt end tacos were disappointing- very fatty- needed to be cooked a little more to crisp them- but good flavor.

Food, cocktails and service were excellent - best burger I've had in a long time - nice menu with a variety of interesting options - highly recommend

My daughter and I were looking for a Wilmington NC restaurant we had not tried yet. Butcher and Barrel by True Blue was a excellent choice. Very nice environment and excellent food. Thanks for your service, CBH

Service and food were great. Arrived early and they took good care of us. Macaroni and cheese was delicious.

Excellent food and you can't beat the $7 smash burger on Wednesdays. Ordered the asparagus salad and it was incredibly delicious.

Ordered ribeye and filet medium rare. Ribeye came out well done (no pink what so ever) and filet came out medium well (slightly pink). Re fired it and both came out rare. For it being a steak restaurant this was very disappointing.

Great restaurant! Had the pleasure of meeting with the owner and I appreciate his business model and care for his employees and customers. I have and will continue to frequent his multiple restaurants.

Food was great as usual, and our waitress Natalie was fantastic! The drinks were great - Banana old fashioned and Sunny disposition were delicious. The Kebab duo was a lot of beef but worth it! Had enough for leftovers.

We were going to get steaks but I saw all the other patrons had hamburgers so we decided to try them. OMG! Heavenly even bunless!!!! Amazing!!! We will be back!!

Overall enjoyed the location, meal and service. Our server appeared to be covering the bar, our table and some kitchen services. While he was attentive he was spread, we missed an appetizer salad as our meal came first. In hindsight we were fine as the meal was large and having appetizer salad may have been overkill for us! We would return.

We took advantage of the BOGO from the bar menu and it was the best value meal we have had in quite a while. We ordered the crab cakes and smash burger. Both meals were outstanding.

The food and Keylime pie was amazing. Jack, our waiter, was fantastic. Best Burger ever had, farm to table makes it even better!

My God. I mean, my God. Words don't do it justice. Between the excellent service from Laura and Austin and the incredible food (best burger I've ever had), I transcended to a state of nirvana while sitting at my table. People got scared. When you go True Blue, you can never go back. My skin is literally blue and the food was so good I don't even care. Love you, True Boo.

We had an incredible experience at True Blue Butcher & Barrel! Jack was phenomenal—he genuinely went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic visit. He expertly guided us through the menu and even picked a mocktail that was exactly what I was hoping for; it was delicious and perfectly crafted.

The steak flight was absolutely the highlight—by far the best steak we've had since moving to Wilmington in 2019. The quality and flavors were outstanding. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for our meal, and the prices were very reasonable given the exceptional quality.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience with friendly service and fantastic food. We’ll definitely be returning!
