Diane and I went out for dinner in recent weeks and I have to say it was a truly unique wonderful experience. The service and food was spectacular, so much so that I didn’t think about how expensive the meal was. I think the company helped soften the blow. Anyone looking for the best filet mignon in town town this is the place to go true blue butcher and barrel is a lot more intimate than the setting at Butcher and Block. I’ll have to go next Wednesday for the five dollar Smashburger as I heard it is incredible and at that price why not buy a few other sides

This place charges you. 3 percent tax on your bill and says it’s for kitchen Appreciation. What’s next. This is outrageous. A parking surcharge. Just pay your staff a better wage if u think they deserve it. These fees by these company’s are getting out of control.Kid-friendliness: Good

Always great drinks and food. Cool atmosphere. The high two-tops are awkwardly long and I swear you're closer to your neighbors on the sides than your partner across so we moved to the bar. The hostess wasn't super friendly but our waiters and bartenders have always been great.Parking: Not a lot of spots in the parking lot

How can a restaurant with excellent food and service earn 2 stars? Because, during 4 separate dinner visits (each and every time) they were playing techno/house music at such a volume no one in my party could hear each other or their server. We left with miserable headaches and our ears ringing. And the poor servers! How can a restaurant do that to their servers? I assume a market/demographic research firm must have given the management this suggestion, but it is a bad one. I finally decided to post this review after hearing this same complaint from two other (younger) couples. And, they should pay their outstanding kitchen staff a living wage by raising menu prices rather than slapping a "4% kitchen appreciation fee" on the tab. Both of these issues leave a very bad taste in the mouth.
