Even a renowned French chef at Lindon’s Taste of the Season has removed Foie Gras from the menu as well as California and many countries outside the US. The production of Foie Gras is an exceptionally cruel process. While the beef industry has taken measures in the US to mitigate the pain and fear experience by cows during processing, Foie Gras continues to be a cruel operation. The livers of the ducks and geese swell up to as much as 10 times their normal size. In a human, this would be very painful so why do we assume these poor animals do not suffer. I can only imagine most people just don’t realize how Foie Gras is produced. Please take Foie Gras off your menu.

This restaurant is beautiful and has an incredible menu. Chandler was an awesome bar tender, so knowledgeable and caring! Highly recommend this spot and incredible service!!UPDATE: I came back for brunch and could not have had a better experience! The food selection is incredible and the mimosa flight was so much fun. Sam and Josh are fantastic bartenders and made the trip that much better!

Service is always great. Servers are awesome. The food is hit or miss. Sometimes you get a fresh French fries with a hot burger and a fresh bun, another week I got a cold burger with a stale bun and cold fries. I understand they get crazy busy, but that should not effect consistency. The scallop with orzo is really good. I’m a regular here almost once a week, I highly recommend this place as long as the food is hot.

Probably one of the best meals we’ve ever had!My husband and I went for the first time for my birthday and wow, we loved everything we ordered. I had the beef rib bolognese and coming from an Italian influenced country I felt just like home. My husband had the Smoked Pork chops and he said it was the best pork chops he ever had (and he’s been in multiple amazing restaurants around the country). We definitely want to go back! We super recommend their bread and butter to wait for the food.

If an awesome bar scene is what you are looking for please look no further than Olivia. She’s personable, fun, and just easy to get along with, and that’s just the personnel. Sam has taught her everything she knows. 100% recommend this place for food and fun. Love this Wilmington gem.

The food and service are fantastic. However, it is not a pleasant experience to sit and dine at the bar. The barstools are counter height which is too low for their bar. Need to be replaced with bar stool height chairs. Also the bar has a 6 inch protruding edge to it. Those two things combined make for a very messy eating experience.

I recently dined at True Blue Butcher and Table, a restaurant that had come highly recommended. I was compelled to share my experience, highlighting both the positives and the areas I felt were lacking.First and foremost, the service was impeccable. Our waitress provided an exceptional dining experience, making us feel welcomed and well attended to throughout the evening. Additionally, the Beef Tartare was a standout, delighting us with its flavors and quality. However, it’s with a heavy heart that I must share the less favorable aspects of our meal, which fell short of our expectations, especially considering the premium we were prepared to pay. The 36 oz Choice Bone-In Ribeye, which we anticipated to be the highlight of our dinner, was unfortunately tough, presenting a challenge even to cut. The Beef and Fried Brussels, rather than being the crispy delight we hoped for, turned out mushy and underwhelming. Similarly, the Beef Satay was overcooked, and the Roasted Mushrooms lacked the flavor and texture one would expect, reminiscent more of canned mushrooms than a dish from a high-end butcher and table restaurant. Moreover, it’s pertinent to mention that the restaurant’s sanitation score stands at 92. While some might find this acceptable, it falls below my expectations, especially in a dining establishment where premium prices are indicative of a higher standard across all facets, including hygiene and cleanliness. This score, although not necessarily indicative of poor sanitation practices, suggests there is room for improvement to match the level of excellence in service and culinary aspirations the restaurant aims to achieve.I believe in constructive feedback and understand that an off night can happen in any kitchen. My past experience in the restaurant industry has taught me to appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into every service. Therefore, this review comes from a place of constructive criticism rather than discontent. While the selections from the butcher have always been excellent, reflecting the quality I know True Blue Butcher and Table can offer, my dining experience did not meet the same standard. This review is written in the hope that it can be used to elevate future dining experiences for all patrons, especially those who save diligently to enjoy a meal of this caliber. For a bill totaling $220 before tip, including a couple of glasses of wine and drinks, one’s expectations naturally align with excellence across the board. To potential diners, I recommend True Blue Butcher and Table for their service and select menu items like the Beef Tartare. However, I also encourage the kitchen to revisit and refine the dishes that didn’t quite hit the mark, ensuring that every guest leaves with the high-quality experience they anticipate and deserve. Moreover, attention to enhancing their sanitation score would ensure that all aspects of the dining experience meet the high expectations set by the price point and reputation.

I’m a regular customer here and this place never disappoints. Our server Lyla was on point and so sweet. The steak frites is the best along with the salad and mac n cheese. The dessert was great and atmosphere is like no other. Seriously recommend it’s a must try.

Buckle up for this one folks. When we first walked in for brunch we were greeted by a hostess whose shiny outfit/skirt did not match the restaurant and was barely long enough to cover everything. After that we could barely hear each other due to the awful acoustics due to no sound cushions and a saxophone player. The decor is cheap and to make it worse they have art for sale on the wall which with what they are aiming for in there is incredibly tacky. The food was ok and the tuna nicoise salad I order to go was exorbitantly priced. Not worth it. The mimosa flight had such little juice in all of them we were practically just drinking champagne. The service was the best part. Very attentive and kind. Then came the bill...a gratuity for the the kitchen. Now I've tipped a kitchen before after I believed they went above and beyond my expectations but I do not appreciate being guilt tripped into it. That is poor ownership and tells me they do NOT pay their staff properly. That's cheap. With no management visible what so ever we left after paying and will never return. It is NOT worth the money or the forced gratuity.

The Scallops and orzo Mac and cheese are excellent. The Halibut special with risotto was also delicious. When it's busy it was pretty loud inside but other than that this is a fantastic place for a nice meal.
