Bagels on Pointe - Downtown

This place was terrible. It was dirty and the woman at the front was rude and dismissive. The AC unit was spilling water all over the floor, leaving a massive puddle. I was sitting right below the AC unit and got water all over me. The staff asked my husband if he wanted the two eggs that came with the toast he had gotten so he said sure and told him it was an up-charge after he already paid. There were bugs flying around around the open food. I would not recommend this place at all. The “avocado toast” was just n untoasted slice of bread with guac on it, couldn’t even finish it.

Good Lox bagel sandwich. Excellent service. There was one individual working the restaurant this day and she hustled to make everyone's orders. The salted bagel was a big hit with our crew.

They are Super friendly. They have plenty of breakfast options. I went with a classic, bacon egg and cheese. My partner did the power protein (which is twice the sausage). Everything is cooked fresh in front of you. We recommend it so that we went twice

Great breakfast sandwich

The food here is great, and the location right on the waterfront is a nice bonus. This was our go-to bagel shop for me and my family until we had a negative experience with a young girl working the register. I ordered a bagel with avocado slices over the phone, but when I picked it up, it was a bagel with guacamole instead. I politely asked if they offered just avocado slices, and she laughed before telling me no. I then asked for either a refund or for a new bagel to be made. She agreed to remake it but then tried to charged me for the new bagel. I explained that I shouldn’t have to pay, as I specifically asked for avocado slices and they gave me guacamole instead. She still insisted I pay, which felt rude and unprofessional. She was laughing and rolling her eyes throughout the interaction. Maybe the shop could consider having more experienced staff, rather than relying on a single 16-year-old girl.

Placed our order and sat down to wait for the food. Girl was vacuuming while the other girl was cooking and we could see the dust getting kicked up in the sunlight. Instead of setting our food down on the table she threw the bag down and it almost fell off the table. Bagels were barely wrapped up and food was flying out of the wrapping. Then when we got to eating the sandwiches they had gotten our order wrong. So when we asked them to remake them they gave us lots of attitude. Asked us in a very condescending way if we were sure our orders were wrong. Read back the orders correctly with so much attitude. Finally got the correct food and it was good then. They just were so rude with their customer service.

This is a awesome place to start your day. The staff is friendly and very attentive to the regular customers needs . Come grab a bagel or two after your morning walk along the riverfront.
