Uncle Louie's Pizza Lounge

We have eaten here on several occasions and the service was slower and slower each visit. Decided to try takeout and called in order an hour before pickup time to give plenty of time for preparation. Arrived for pickup and hadn’t even started order. Food isn’t bad but don’t get in a hurry. Definitely not worth the wait.

This place was amazing! Also, there is a brownie there that has a layer of peanut butter between two hot brownies and some vanilla ice cream on tol!!! O. M. G.!! We actually went back another day just to get more brownie!!

Sadly just had the worst meatball sub I've ever had. Disappointed because I've had their pizza and it's very good. Bread was not fresh at all. Barely toasted, very little sauce and cheese. Mostly stale bread sub. Never again.

🎵🎶 sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name 🎵🎶. We've been living on this side of Wilmington for just over 9yrs and just discovered this gem recently and have been hooked ever since. Smaller local owned restaurant/bar. Great food, great drinks, good specials, awesome patron company and the staff is *chefs kiss*
Pro/con- some of their food sells so well they run out from time to time. We just simply order something else because there isn't anything we haven't tried yet that wasn't good.

This is our go to restaurant. Close to home and a local favorite, newcomers are always welcomed. Very friendly with a great menu leans italian. I always go for the spinach salad or the chicken salad sandwich—both are great and more than I can eat. My husband seems to get the wings every time. If you want a full meal with the family or or just a drink at the bar, it’s a place that feels like home.

If you eat lasagna here, you could then travel to the ends of the earth tasting lasagna from all over the world and I promise you would then agree that this little place in Wilmington still has the BEST you’ve ever tasted.

I seemed to have been here at an unusually busy time? Food-wise there are good ingredients being used on the burger and the cook does a good job of preparing BUT they’re missing a good expo to run food and make sure the ticket matches the order. I was missing a sauce and saw the cook running food numerous times to tables. Seems like they need an upgrade at manager. Anyway, I’ve heard poor reviews about the pizza so I tried it myself. This is not an award winning recipe by any means but the slices are huge. Perfect if you need a vehicle to get toppings ingested but I would not recommend plain as it truly is not impressive at all. Decent spot for watching sports at the bar. Seems like a place that caters to local regulars more than passers by. The ginger bartender girl was awesome and handled a lot going on at once. She seemed to be the only glue holding it together in the front of the house. With little competition they’ll make it but it wouldn’t hurt to polish up the operation a bit.

Uncle Louie’s was pretty good!! Their fried foods were really good- we got calamari and chicken tenders! I hear their fried ravioli is really good but we didn’t get that. I had a salad and it was pretty good. The pizza was okay. And my son liked the club sandwich. They have a FULL bar and I think it’s probably more of a bar than a restaurant.

Pizza was very good, with the exception of the crust.
My wife said it tasted like cardboard. I think it was very tough but ok.
