What can I say. It’s Waffle House. It is good consistently and the employees are always friendly. This is a good Waffle House. The pecan waffle with honey syrup is the best. Be sure to get your hashbrowns cooked well and all the way. Enjoy the Waffle House experience.

I came in to the waffle house on 5041 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28405 on November 1st about 04:45. I sat down at a booth, the cook looks over and say's we're closed, there was about 10-15 customers in the restaurant. I will go out of my way to avoid eating here. In fact, I am driving 45 miles to Denny's right now in Sneads Ferry NC to give them my business. I can't believe the customer service skills you employ. I have never been to waffle house that tells customers they are closed. Much less ever been to one that was closed for any reason, not even on a holiday. It's one of the mainstays of your company to be open 24/7/365. Are you okay with customers being turned away? Honestly, if this was my district there would be a head rolling tomorrow.

Such a sweet staff, our waitress was so nice and even decorated my kids waffles!
On Friday November 17th at 11 pm we stopped at this waffle house in Willimgton NC , there were only w tables in the restaurant with people at it and ours, so it wasn't busy at all, took 30 mins to get old coffee the bottom of the pot I had to go up to the counter to ask her to make a fresh pot 20 mins later finally got a cup of fresh coffee, 30 mins after my bf got his sandwich after asking 3 times and after he was finished eating his sandwich he finally got his scrambled eggs ( cold) , I got my waffle 15 mins after that and it was raw and wrong waited another 25 mins for a new one , my bacon was burnt and it was rotten , the meat was rotten and had a green color meat tasted rotten. She was rude and slow, worst experience in a waffle house ever..
The people are nice but I've eaten at this waffle house 3 times and too many things have gone wrong. Either they or out of sausage gravy or its old and tastes weird. The waitress also charged us an extra $10 after forgetting to serve us 2 items that we had ordered. Only went back to this one because the waffle house down the road was closed for renovations.

Imagine asking for syrup to go with the waffle Destiny slammed down on our table...and being told she's going as fast as she can. Here's a novel idea Destiny....bring the syrup with the plate. IT IS A WAFFLE. Syrup is customary with a waffle. And don't bother asking for an over very light egg because that's not what you'll get. First visit there. Last as well.
