This is the worst Wendy’s store I have ever been in. If this was the first time I had been to a Wendy’s I would never go back. However this store is the anomaly. Service is bad and the store is downtrodden. The carpet is so dirty you can’t even tell that there was a pattern on it at one time. Corporate needs to step in and tell the franchisee to either clean up the store and improve the service ir give up the store.

EDIT: CAME BACK TWO YEARS LATER. THE PICS OF THE FLOOR SHOULD GIVE YOU AN INDICATION OF THE SERVICE. NO IMPROVEMENT WHATSOEVER. (This is the old review >>>>) The front counter guy should not be working a register. One of the employees walked out with his pants around his bottom. The fries were cold. No chocolate frosty available. The counter guy then went to the lobby where he proceeded to lay down in a booth. Everything about this location is in trouble. Just close down. It would be less embarrassing.

Went to get some food after getting off a 15 hour shift 12 at night employee said “I’m taking a 15 min break” like she was slammed the last couple hours I bet she didn’t see a customer for at least 2 hours before I came. Stupid.

Probably the worst Wendy's I've ever been in my life. I work nearby and its problems after problems, original negative review i wrote 3 years ago, nothing has changed. I'm surprised they're not closed down.

As a travel RN, I don't eat fast food much but was starving last night. Order was correct, didn't wait long. Reason for bad rating was my burger/fries were cold. Just got off work and just wanted something to eat! Never again and I blame myself for not reading the recent reviews beforehand!!

Was told they were on a 30 minute break at 1145 at the drive thru.
I went in (doors unlocked) and they said that inside was closed and the drive thru was open.
Went back thru the drive thru and waited 25 minutes to be met by a very aggressive woman. Obviously hates her job and takes it out on everyone else.
Three other cars waiting for food in front of me.
Just trash employees.
Management needs to do they're job.

After going in and using the restroom I placed a mobile order from the parking lot and picked it up through the drive-thru. Everyone was very friendly and even greeted me when I walked in. The food was ready for me at the drive-thru window. They got the order correct and I could tell the sandwich was made with care not just sloppily thrown together. I had a very good experience here!

I wanted to share my recent experience at the Wendy's located at 1719 Eastwood Rd, Wilmington, NC, after catching a show of *Wicked*. We stopped by for a quick dinner for the kids, but unfortunately, it was quite disappointing.
First, they got our order wrong, which was frustrating enough. On top of that, the lettuce on our sandwiches was brown and rotten, and the nuggets were cold. To make matters worse, I found a piece of plastic on my chicken sandwich! The sandwich itself was hard as a rock—clearly old and overcooked.
Additionally, I was shocked to see how filthy the inside of the location was. It really makes me question how this place passes health inspections. Wendy's should be ashamed of this standard!
I believe it's important for fast food establishments to maintain quality and cleanliness, especially when families are looking for a quick meal. I hope this feedback can help improve their service and food quality for future patrons.

Hamburger not cooked-red in middle. Staff mean at 4:30 ,Sunday nov10, 2024. Waited forever got wrong order and hamburger not well cooked . Raw in middle. Tomorrow morning I will be calling new Hanover health dept

I recently stopped by this Wendy’s for lunch, hoping to enjoy the quality food and service I remember. Unfortunately, it fell short. Wendy’s has always been a favorite fast food spot for me, known for its quality burgers, but this particular location seems to have lost its touch, especially since the pandemic. The cashier was friendly and helpful, which was appreciated, but the rest of the staff seemed unmotivated, almost as if they’d rather be anywhere else. Their attitude gave the whole place a sluggish, uninviting feel.
One of the biggest disappointments was the Coke Freestyle machine – it was out of almost every flavor at 11:00 a.m., well before the usual lunch rush. This lack of preparation felt like a sign of poor management or staff disinterest. As for the dining area, it wasn’t exactly dirty, but it also wasn’t as clean as I’d expect, especially at that early hour. Given how many other options there are nearby, I left feeling like this Wendy’s just wasn’t worth it. While I wouldn’t completely rule out coming back someday, it’s unlikely I’ll be returning anytime soon.
