First time finally coming here after living in Wilmigton for five years. I usually go to places like Kickback or Maxx Speed shop before it closed for wings. Finally came and tried the wings. Must say it was good. Could be better. I heard the wings used to be bigger, but that could be a supplier issues/vendor change. I got the sweet chili sriracha, and the flavor was good. The only thing that would make it better/great if there was more sauce. It wasn't very saucy. I also ordered their version of garlic nots and will say I wasn't impressed. The Mariana sauce was super watery and was a waste. My friend also ordered the tater tots, and they came out late and way too hot. They were good, but not great. The staff were very nice and welcoming. Overall, I was happy with my experience and will go again. I hope next time there is actually sauce on the wings.

Parking: It gets packed and had to park next to the road. Could be an issues especially if you have a full sized truck. The parking lot was full when I came for lunch.

Had the wings and pierogies. The wings were great. The pierogies would be FANTASTIC if they were boiled and not fried. The flavor profiles were amazing, but frying them made them tough and really chewy, couldn't even cut them with the plastic knife!

Nice place, a big long zigzagging bar to sit at and some high-top tables along walls. outside seating too. Thursday night is three dollars off burgers so it was pretty busy but we got there close to 7 PM so we were able to get seats and things were thinning out.

They have a good beer selection and a full bar and as we saw by the menu an expensive burger menu, which was our target for tonight.
I didn’t get a shot of the menu but it hasn’t changed a little bit from the ones I see on yelp. I will get a new photo next time, and there will be a next time.

I got the Cape fear burger with pimento and jalapeños plus more jalapeños and bacon. Ginnie got the cowboy burger which has onions and mushrooms, Swiss cheese and steak sauce. The homemade chips were super crisp, we will have to go again to see if they are always that way or we just lucked out.

The food was good, we were full when we left. The service was good, the bartender was nice and took some time to talk with us since it was our first time. We went to the “at the creek” location, More towards monkey junction, there is a second location a little bit further north midtownish in Wilmington which we’ll have to try also.

Parking: Off-road parking lot lots of spots but if it’s a busy night it could get a little bit tight but we had no problem

Had a great time last Saturday watching the USA Olympic Soccer & Basketball teams win their Gold Medals!!! 🥇 The food & drinks were spot on & the staff was AMAZING!!! 👍

Whiskey Trail has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and for good reason. The ambiance is incredible, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for any occasion. The food is not only great but also reasonably priced, making it a perfect place for regular visits.

One of the highlights of Whiskey Trail is their daily drink specials, which are always a treat. The staff here is truly incredible; their friendliness and efficiency enhance the overall experience. I have been multiple times and will continue coming back because of the exceptional service they provide.

Tuesday Trivia is a blast and adds a fun, interactive element to the week. The bartenders, in particular, have been a standout. I may be spelling their names wrong, but the manager Megan and one of the bartenders Jessie specifically have made my visits memorable with their expertise, personality, and dedication. They are a big part of why I’ll keep returning to Whiskey Trail.

In summary, Whiskey Trail offers an unbeatable combination of ambiance, great food, reasonable prices, daily drink specials, and an outstanding staff. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining and drinking experience.

Food is always amazing. The one downfall to this place is the female bartender. Each time I have stopped in to grab a bite for the road back out of town ( I travel back and forth from home to Wilmington at least three to four times a month),This makes the sixth time I’ve come and placed an order to go. I’m not sure if it’s the time I have come in or what but she has never been eager to help or really to be bothered with my to go order. There was a male bartender on hand tonight and he took my order. He was super friendly, quick and attentive. All qualities I need for my departure. Perfect. I was barely given a second look by the female. She saw me and didn’t stop her stocking or doing what she was doing to even say hello or someone will be right with you. I was like wow I feel like I’m back in high school being rejected by the popular girl in my class. I mean dang can you at least say something other than give me a look like I’m doing you a huge disservice by entering the establishment. *sad face. I can’t say much about the place other than the food is good, the female bartender is wack, every other staff member I’ve come in contact with has been nice and inviting, and it’s a nice little local place.

Parking: No issues unless it’s peak hrs 6-8 pm on the weekend or during the week. It can pretty hectic around there pretty much eve try day of the week

Wheelchair accessibility: The place is on a ground level and you can roll right in no obstacles or obstructions.

We wanted to try a new place for lunch. A friend of mine had recommended this restaurant due to the food and atmosphere. We decided on burgers. Mine was the Black & Bleu burger. The brioche bun was very fresh and soft. The beef pattie was cooked to order and wasn't over seasoned. I hadn't had a burger this juicy in a long time. My side was the homemade potato chips. These chips were super crispy and had been drained well. I dipped them in ranch dressing. The waitress was enthusiastic, and the atmosphere wasn't too loud to have table conversations. The music was 1970s hits. This restaurant is 75% bar with 25% non bar seating on the bottom level. For this reason, I probably wouldn't come on a Friday or Saturday night for a meal. It was perfect, however, for a Sunday brunch.

Fantastic food! We ordered takeout and everything was cooked to perfection. Plenty of food in the portions, highly recommend the various burgers and Chicken Philly Cheese sandwich.

Good burgers. Went on $12.00 burger night. My wife and I got the same burger. They charged us $12.00 for one and $13.00 for the other. This is not the 1st time that this has happened.
