Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

What started as a disaster turned into a great experience. I waited for my order for 15 min while watching customers who came in after me receive there order while I still waited. After asking for a refund the manger on duty ,Daryl got involved. He told the kitchen staff nothing come out before mine. He offered to give me my order for free which I refused. He handled the situation like the professional that he is. It is his reaction to this situation that will having g me coming back. Daryl should be recognized for how he handled this situation.

This is the worst fast food place in all of Wilmington. I feel like the inmates are running the asylum- and even they are failing. Orders are constantly wrong, they are lying about what you can be and nothing is made correctly. Today they told me they had a product in and between when I ordered at the drive through and got to the window to pay it was no longer available. They must be as horrible employers as employees because there is at least one employee outside on the phone crying each week as I drive by. They should do better!

On 09/12/25 @ 3:30 pm Tyaisna was a sweetheart olny issue was she needs to talk louder i had to keep saying what did you say other issue was and it's not just Zaxbys it's every fast food restaurants the drive-thru and Uber Eats comes frist while the customers inside has to wait i waited 13 minutes for my order as I watched people pull up to the drive-thru got their order im still waiting

The staff here are super friendly. I come here about once or twice per month and they’re always nice and my orders are always accurate. Please never take away the Asian Zensation salad, it’s one of the best salads available in the fast food industry. I recommend this Zaxby’s.

The slowest drive through i have ever been through. And it is like this everytime you go. If you see 4 cars be prepared to wait 30 minutes minimum.

Stood there for 20 minutes waiting for an online when they had it ready at the drive thru window but clueless cashiers refused to check on the order and kept telling me to wait until I asked them to check

Food was pretty good. Place seemed a little dirty and some of the staff were very nice while some were more towards the rude side. Food was brought out on a tray that was still dirty from before our food was put on it.

Huge drop in quality recently....noticed this at many fast food places not just zaxbys. Tenders have many chewy bits in them, boneless wings are very tough with little sauce, and it just tastes worse than it used to. I was hoping I was getting it on bad days, but quality has been poor for 4 or 5 different visits now.

just wanted to mention that the girly that usually works the drive thru during the day is super friendly and always has great customer service, which is very rare for some restaurants around here :) and the fried pickles are 10/10

Dined in at Zaxbys today for lunch and I was really excited about trying the new chicken finger tacos, I ordered the ranch meal which came with three tacos and a small drink for $10.00 and change. I was a little bit taken back by the cost but I figured it was Zaxbys and I knew it was going to be good! Boy was I fooled! It was tasteless and no flavor. The chicken was cold and I couldn’t taste anything until I drowned the third taco with Zaxby sauce. I would never order that again but I’ll give the restaurant another try. The server was pleasant and the inside had a pleasant and clean atmosphere. No chicken tacos for me again. I felt like I wasted 10.00 and I don’t even have any fulfillment for my appetite. Sorry Zaxbys you missed it on this one
