Was a great place but they closed the doors
P!ss poor customer service. This venue was rented for a wedding for thousands of dollars. Was told, "No! You can not use the ice machine in the venue." Really? After paying for thousands, you mean to say you can not spare a few ice cubes?
I'm heartbroken the place is closed!! Truly sad.
Takeout is great and extremely cheap, especially considering the high quality of the food. I had a large combo BBQ and fried chicken plate for $8 w/ tax. Parkers BBQ is better but Bill Ellis is still excellent and has more items. I'd give the buffet 4 stars and you should know buffets are only to be eaten when the place is crowded and the food is fresh. I'd wager the bad reviews are from people eating the buffet on off-peak hours. There is a separate entrance and a drive-through for takeout which is freshly prepared.
The last meal I had here was extremely bad! Sad to say.
