Went to wilson on 2/25/2025. Been going to CookOut for years. Always been really good. Yesterday was a disaster. My wife ordered 3 cookout style burgers. When we got them, they had lettuce, tomato,onions,mustard,mayonnaise. I took them back to the counter and found out why. The girl who took the order barely spoke English. Since I live in America, I expect someone taking my order to be able to communicate in English. I asked her if she knew what CookIut style was, was then I figured out why. She sent them back and after ab out 15 minutes they were ready..bun was dry and crumbly, meat was also dried out. Poor service, poorer food. Lots of good hamburger restaurants in Wilson, I chose yours. Wrong choice. Won't make that choice again. Won't be back again. When I see the ICE bus in town, will send them to CookOut. Always could count on CookOut for good , but not anymore.

If you are only accepting cash, you should put a note at the very beginning of the drive thru. Also, I was told I could come inside, since I didn't have cash. That means somewhere in the building, card is accepted. Now I'm stuck in this drive thru line, wasting my time.

02/11/2025 11:45 am. Order taker at the window was rude. I put the date and time so cookout can know exactly who the person is. She sounded nice at first and then became rude after I asked what was on the burger. It was her tone. You don’t know what ppl are going thru and she don’t know if that was my first time going there or not. Be nice. I never had this experience with cookout before but it messed my mood up. Stuff like that can definitely cause confrontation.

The restaurant was very cold almost as of the heat was not on and the lobby was dirty worth food under seats and tables and crumbsall over most of the tables, cashier was friendly, food was cold asked for hot fries and was given a handful of "hot" ones on top of the cold ones. The sandwich had a piece of lettuce smaller then the bun or meat. The only thing that was right was the onion rings and the tea. We have been here before and it was awesome so we have 2 star but that's was the only reason.

I’m just going to start leaving a negative review every time these places get my order wrong. I’m tired of going back and spending the time to take the incorrect order in to have it corrected. I’ve given this place several chances and literally every time something is wrong. They either forget the napkin’s or they forget the straws or there’s something wrong on the order. This time I ordered a Diet Coke and a Dr Pepper and I get a Diet Coke and a Cheerwine. It all boils down to the fact the employees these days are lazy and do not care of the order is right. They aren’t paying them enough money to care so they’re just moving customers through as fast as they can!!
How do I get seasoning on my fries? The last 3 times I've asked for season fries for a side, the fries haven't had any seasoning.

I mean how can you not like it or even love it. GOOD food, prices are good for what you get, and they got that drive-thru down to a science because I don't care how long that line is you'll never wait more then 10 mins! Rock on COOKOUT ??
Vegetarian options: I mean it's called the cookout so yeah there meat I think it's real meat too! (It's scary I have to say that tho really! I think it's real meat!
