Not a place for coffee enthusiasts. Actually, let's just say not a place for coffee snobs. The hot white chocolate latte is overwhelmingly sweet and taste more like milk syrup drink than a latte. No note of any coffee whatsoever. Disappointing.

0 for ambience and loud music. Kills any ambience that's left.

I had the pleasure of visiting Cups of Joy in Wilson NC today (7.21.25). It was my first visit and definitely will not be the last. The coffee was very delicious (even for my non coffee drinking husband), my 7 year old son loved the frozen hot chocolate, and my pup really enjoyed his cream cup. Ever since they have opened I have loved this place . It’s usually really good and the service is always good . I don’t know why but the past 4 times I’ve been every time my order has been wrong or flavors I usually get don’t have the syrup swirls on the cup or I flat out can’t taste it ? This has happened even when it’s not busy . Maybe the recipes changed ?
