Flos… baby… we just watched you dump a whole bucket of that pre-shredded “cheddar” in there like it’s premium, and I’m crying because that is NOT real cheese, that is cheese adjacent. That is bagged confetti coated in starch, preservatives, and anti-caking powder so it can sit in somebody’s pantry until 2047 and still look the same.
And that’s EXACTLY why them biscuits be nasty. Y’all not using hoop cheese, not using a block, not grating nothing fresh… just straight “cheddar blend” dusted like it’s going into witness protection. Like ma’am if the cheese crunches before it melts, we have a problem.
Flo’s Kitchen calling them “famous” cheese biscuits but what’s famous is the way y’all be cutting corners because ain’t nothing homemade about a cheese that comes pre-coated in potato powder. That’s not a biscuit recipe, that’s a budget survival tactic with a prayer on top.
TURN OFF THE COMMENTS AND RUN IT INTO THE GROUND.
That’s y’all’s loss! Y’all bought a restaurant and if you want it to fail that’s on you the owners. However the use of money would have been better donated to the Wesley Shelter if you wanted to throw money away.

Been coming here for decades. The new biscuits are terrible. I knew the change of ownership would change the food, but if your main food is a biscuit, the biscuits better be good. It was extremely dry and more like a hard bread than a biscuit.

Flo’s is no longer the well oiled machine of the past. Service takes 2-3 times longer and the food is not as good as it was in the past. If it works well then leave it alone.

Since the ownership changed so has the food quality and friendliness. The pork chop sandwich is much smaller that it used to be. It is also very bland now. Service is still fairly quick but the employees are not very friendly anymore.

They jack the prices up but cant pay there their staff the over time they deserve and have constant management issues I'm surprised they can even afford another building in Rocky Mount but can take care of the original building knowing it needs huge improvements.

First found out about this place when I was pregnant with my first child 21 years ago...it was good then and good now. The line flows out into the street however, staff will walk to your car to take your order so it will be ready when you pull around to the window.....usual wait is about 10 minutes. Just imagine the quality of food with good customer service and a long line you don't mind waiting in.....like Chick-fil-A. CASH ONLY!!!! My go-to is a tenderloin, egg and cheese biscuit which was $4.50...on my visit on 3/21, they had a sign posted stating price increases beginning 3/24 which is LOOOOONG overdue, especially with the price of eggs! A good spot for your morning meal.

Parking: When you see the long line don't get discouraged because it moves fast. Just get in line and they will guide you though quickly. Remember CASH only but if you forget, they do have an ATM near front of building.

Owners changed and so did the service here. Also the one employee I believe Brittany is her name is extremely rude and not good at all with costumers. Definitely worth avoiding for a while until the new owner adjusts something or maybe find a new place in town.
