Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

They close the store right before Christmas not letting anybody know or giving anybody a heads up and tells them to pick there check up on the 23rd with no time to pick it up or anything the guy that runs the place is a joke and shouldn’t even be able to run a store I reckon that’s just how he runs his so called “business” no wonder he had to close down

My wife and I feel so bad for the waitress who was doing all the work while the two guys in the back in the grill barely did anything. She was working her tail off and running all around the store while the guys were just standing there, or leaning on the counter and not offering to help her or the many guest in the store. I want to give a huge shout out to Amanda for being such a hard worker and she deserves a raise! As for the lazy guys in the back, you need to get their butts in gear and have them actually work at work and not let one team member do 95% of the work. We will not be returning!

I visited here this past Sunday for lunch. There wasn’t much help but the service was great. I believe the employees name were Brittany or Tiffany, and April. The cook did a great job as well. I will be visiting again.

Well, well, well! There's hope for Hwy 55 after all! I have been boycotting the other location in town for 2 years due to a lot of issues. I happened to be at the other today and it was the best it could've have possibly been. Order came quickly and it actually had a proper amount of condiments and chili on the burger. In the past I've had to ask for extra chili because you got maybe a half teaspoon. I have 0 complaints about this visit, even tipped the cook $20.

I'm giving the one star because giving no stars is not even an option.
This has to be one of the worst fast food experiences I have ever had, and without apology, offered refund, or to even cook me a new meal the way I ordered it.
I ordered two cheeseburgers. I don't know why, but they thought it would be okay to serve me two raw cheeseburgers that were actually cold in the middle. See the photos I posted of the raw meat (look in the photos section, I couldn't put them with the review.) I requested the cheeseburgers with mustard and no ketchup. Look at the photos I posted, you will see I got ketchup.
I ordered two orders of french fries cooked well done. Not only were they not cooked well done, they were a very light blonde, and barely cooked.
They were not busy at all, only three customers, so it isn't like they were slammed with orders and had to rush. But that still would not have been a reason to not have cooked the meat and the French fries.
And here it even gets better.
I ordered two chocolate shakes. The woman put vanilla ice cream in two cups, and then says they are all out of chocolates syrup. She said the manager is going to go to the grocery store and buy some chocolate syrup and will be back in a minute. 20 minutes later she is putting the chocolate syrup in my now melted ice cream and making the shakes. I also ordered the whipped cream and cherries on top. They were all out of whipped cream. No apologies or anything, just told me we're all out of whipped cream, here's your two milkshakes. My husband drank one sip of his before he threw it in the trash, I only took one or two sips before I threw mine in the trash. You couldn't even taste any chocolate, it just tasted like melted vanilla ice cream.
The raw food we were served went in the TRASH CAN as well. We left there and had to go to McDonald's to get something to eat because we were still hungry.

Servers were friendly and hard working as it was just 2 on when my family arrived. The food was hot and perfectly cooked. Wish there was one closer to or in Richmond, VA ... ?

I know the price of everything has gone up but you don't charge more and give alot less and expect happy customers.I would have rated the food a 5 because it does taste good but I expect what is pictured on the menu,My shrimp burger was pathetic,I don't even think there were 4 shrimp,there was a tiny smidgen of cole slaw almost thought they forgot it.The loaded fries was a joke,It was far from loaded, with small little pieces of bacon just enough to say it had bacon,very few fries,specks of Jalapenos,If you put all the specks of Jalapeno together you might have have a Jalapeno slice.The waitress is very busy,,too busy actually so service is slow because it's only her alone,not to mention she is bossy to the cooks and they are probably the only reason the place stays open. I'm sure they are told to skimp because they are great cooks.Its sad this could be a good restaurant if the owner was more concerned with filling your plate rather than thier pockets.

Sat in there 15 minutes, no one ever acknowledged I was there or came to take order. Time was 1:30. This is the second tine this has happened in a month

I am always greeted by a friendly face whenever I visit this Hwy55. The staff is very nice and knows my drink order without even having to ask.

Need more help.. the poor lady was running around by herself doing everything... the food was good. But of course a Karen showed up yelling at the poor lady. Service was great and the food was good. Just needs more help. Wasn't the servers fault the Karen didn't confirm the order.
