Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

My wife and I stopped to get lunch at this location in Wilson N.C. the food tastes great and the service was perfect. Very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed the whole time we were there . Would have given 5 Stars but the cheese steak was half the steak I'm used to getting at other locations. The first couple of bites and the last 2 were nothing but bread but yet the price did not reflect them lesser meat in the sandwich . the large cheese steak full of meat is what keeps me coming back so don't short the customer. This is our 2nd time here and we love the service and the food and atmosphere it is amazing we have hwy 55 in Kenly and we don’t eat there because this one is the best. I recommend anyone to come here it is awesome!!!!!

Went to lunch there on Tuesday, first thing I noticed floor was wet were something was spilled on it and employees did nothing about it. I ordered a Shrimp platter which comes with shrimp, fries, coleslaw and toast, when the platter arrived I didn't get the slaw and toast, took 10 minutes to get waitress attention took her I was missing slaw and toast she got the slaw and stated they were out of toast. She didn't seem to care about me missing something. It wasn't busy only 1 other customer.

They have really turned around! Food and service is great! I will be back. Only downside is that they “appear closed” on the app therefore you can’t earn or use any rewards points. Although the girl was very accommodating and let me still get the reward I wanted to claim in the app since I was unable to use the app/order online.

They close the store right before Christmas not letting anybody know or giving anybody a heads up and tells them to pick there check up on the 23rd with no time to pick it up or anything the guy that runs the place is a joke and shouldn’t even be able to run a store I reckon that’s just how he runs his so called “business” no wonder he had to close down

My wife and I feel so bad for the waitress who was doing all the work while the two guys in the back in the grill barely did anything. She was working her tail off and running all around the store while the guys were just standing there, or leaning on the counter and not offering to help her or the many guest in the store. I want to give a huge shout out to Amanda for being such a hard worker and she deserves a raise! As for the lazy guys in the back, you need to get their butts in gear and have them actually work at work and not let one team member do 95% of the work. We will not be returning!

I visited here this past Sunday for lunch. There wasn’t much help but the service was great. I believe the employees name were Brittany or Tiffany, and April. The cook did a great job as well. I will be visiting again.

Well, well, well! There's hope for Hwy 55 after all! I have been boycotting the other location in town for 2 years due to a lot of issues. I happened to be at the other today and it was the best it could've have possibly been. Order came quickly and it actually had a proper amount of condiments and chili on the burger. In the past I've had to ask for extra chili because you got maybe a half teaspoon. I have 0 complaints about this visit, even tipped the cook $20.

I'm giving the one star because giving no stars is not even an option.
This has to be one of the worst fast food experiences I have ever had, and without apology, offered refund, or to even cook me a new meal the way I ordered it.
I ordered two cheeseburgers. I don't know why, but they thought it would be okay to serve me two raw cheeseburgers that were actually cold in the middle. See the photos I posted of the raw meat (look in the photos section, I couldn't put them with the review.) I requested the cheeseburgers with mustard and no ketchup. Look at the photos I posted, you will see I got ketchup.
I ordered two orders of french fries cooked well done. Not only were they not cooked well done, they were a very light blonde, and barely cooked.
They were not busy at all, only three customers, so it isn't like they were slammed with orders and had to rush. But that still would not have been a reason to not have cooked the meat and the French fries.
And here it even gets better.
I ordered two chocolate shakes. The woman put vanilla ice cream in two cups, and then says they are all out of chocolates syrup. She said the manager is going to go to the grocery store and buy some chocolate syrup and will be back in a minute. 20 minutes later she is putting the chocolate syrup in my now melted ice cream and making the shakes. I also ordered the whipped cream and cherries on top. They were all out of whipped cream. No apologies or anything, just told me we're all out of whipped cream, here's your two milkshakes. My husband drank one sip of his before he threw it in the trash, I only took one or two sips before I threw mine in the trash. You couldn't even taste any chocolate, it just tasted like melted vanilla ice cream.
The raw food we were served went in the TRASH CAN as well. We left there and had to go to McDonald's to get something to eat because we were still hungry.
